La Camporena is extremely well situated, just a few minutes away from Greve in Chianti, and the perfect location to explore the countryside. It is obviously a professional establishment but retains a familial and personal atmosphere. The breakfast was excellent, the best omelette we've had in a long time. The restaurant served very good food and we stayed for dinner the two nights we spent there, enjoying the comfort in a calm and beautiful location. Having a nice swimming pool was much welcomed in the heat we experienced.

Fantastic view from big terrace near the reception. Friendly staff even if english was a bit poor, but not a big issue. We were the only guest that day so very calm and we could enjoy the clean large pool among the olive trees. We had a nice view over the tuscany valley with the small town nearby (5min with car). Breakfast possible and we had nice ham and cheese toast, juice, coffe and an amazingly good chocolate cake! Must get the recipe! We also had a nice dinner w cheese, ham and pasta, all very tasty. A bottle of their own classico from 2013 was a perfect match. Very smooth and high class wine. Recommended. Have a glass of wine and look when the sun goes down among the hills. It is divine.
