Overview
Offering elegant apartments and an independent chalet, all with panoramic views across Monte Rosa and Colle Ranzola mountains, Villa Fridau resort is set in a mountainous area 1.5 km outside Gressoney-Saint-Jean centre. With a traditional Alpine style, all units offer a TV, free WiFi and a fully equipped kitchenette with a microwave. All are equipped with bed linen and towels. Some apartments feature wood-beamed ceilings, wooden floors and colourful furniture. The villa dates back to the 1800s and features a large sun terrace, a communal lounge with a bar corner, and a library. The property includes a modern wellness centre with sauna, Turkish bath, and 2 hot tubs. Guests can also enjoy hay treatments, 2 waterbeds with chromotherapy and a relax area with complimentary infusions. The Weissmatten ski slopes are around 1 km away and are easily reached via the cross-country ski tracks in front of the hotel. The Monterosa Ski area is about 10 km away and can be reached via a local shuttle service.

“Wonderful trip in Gressoney”
Excellent stay at Villa Fridau! The 2-bedroom apartment was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed. Paola was a wonderful host - very helpful and accommodating with all our requests. Great location in Gressoney for skiing and exploring the area. Highly recommend!

Self-catered for breakfast; Spar shop 500m walk away, but good and friendly. Family owners of Villa Fridau very pleasant, friendly and helpful. I would book again for future visit.

“What a gem!”
Really lovely stay in Gressoney-Saint-Jean. Super friendly and helpful staff. Apartment was far bigger than we had anticipated, very comfortable and clean. Massive bathroom with amazing shower. A gem of a find! Bus stop at the end of the road. Trails start right up the back.

“Definitely recommended!”
The staff was really welcoming and friendly, beyond what one would normally expect. The place is very cosy, clean and well positioned. We rented a one room flat for a family of 4 (two kids) for a weekend on the slopes and we would definitely recommend this place. The attached restaurant is also very good!

Perfect for a relaxing and ski holiday with family. Great ski depo inside and direct parking to offload gears. Apartment is lovely, well equipped, new, alpine layout and family oriented with ideal spaces for easy evenings in. Wellness is a great plus after skiing with free entry for children up to the age of 13. Surroundings and landscape are looking out to the Monterosa peaks. Children loved the use of free bobsled outside hotel. We will love to stay here again. Finally Paola is a great host and kind to make your staying ideal.

“Clean, brilliant apartment. Would come back again!”
The apartment was perfect - clean and decent sized. It had everything we could possibly want. The host Paola was exceptional. Very helpful and always there if we needed any help. I would stay here again in an instant. It is really close to the Weismatten lift and baby snow park. And right next door to XC ski tracks - perfect! There is also a restaurant attached to the property. Gressoney St Jean is just a few mins drive away. Highly recommend.
