“Good value. You get what you pay for”
Hans, friendly host, speaks reasonable English Bed very big and comfortable, quiet suburban residential area, on site parking. Excellent Italian restaurant within 5 mins walk, supermarket and shops in walking distance. This room was half the price of the equivalent 15 mins away across the Rhine in Switzerland. If you want a cheap, good night's sleep close to Switzerland, then this is good value.

Good location. Really close to both bus and train stops. Convenient to arrive from Basel station and just as easy to leave again. Shop nearby. Bed is soft and quiet at night.Quite a friendly owner. Quiet for 1-2 nights.

“A brilliant refuge away from the city.”
Excellent, very hospitable host Hansruedi who does all he can to make one feel welcome and comfortable. Highly recommended on every score. Wonderful, quiet location right in the edge of the Black Forest and looking out over the Rhein and to Basel beyond. Superb place to stay if you wish to get away from the noise of the city.

The room was very dirty. Bed sheet were not cleaned, and the pillows were very dirty as well. The kitchen has small flying insects. The guy who owned the property lived there as well, and I think he lives alone. That's why he never cleaned the house. I will never stay there next time. It's really not a place to live as a couple. When I arrived there it was difficult to find the place. Literally, I was going away but one of the negibour helped me to find the house. Please don't stay here.

Very good location of the property, very close to the city center, a particularly attractive town, with many restaurants where you can relax and dine. Parking space in front of the property, kind owner. Comfortable bed. We didn't have breakfast, otherwise we was in transit.
