The family running the hotel and all the staff were lovely friendly and helpful. They provided a positive balance to the poor state of the building. Beautiful views from the outside breakfast and dining balcony.

The owners were delightful and gave us a good welcome. However the bedrooms are tiny with a very small double bed. There was a mix up with the 2nd night stay for our friends so we moved on after the first night. Parking was on the property but limited. Hotel on sharp bend. You have to use your car to get to Grasse which is nearby and other towns. Dining facilities at hotel which was fine. Family run hotel.

“Barely Acceptable”

We were given an older room, bathroom was not renovated. The wifi was bad, the pillows were unconfortable, the shower was very small, plus you can hear the other rooms and the road easily. Parking was also quite difficult. For a 2 star hotel it was acceptable, but only for one night.

“Countryside Simplicity”

The hosts were warm and welcoming, and it’s clear this is a family-run property with a personal touch. They speak excellent English and made us feel right at home. The accommodation is set in a beautiful old building with magnificent views over the Grasse countryside. The breakfast was delicious, generously portioned, and very reasonably priced - a lovely way to start the day.

Lovely airy "superior" room with view over the hills from the french windows. Very comfortable bed and modern bathroom with shower. Tasty breakfast of coffee, rolls, croissant, fruit and yogurt eaten on the sunny terrace a wonderful start to each day; also enjoyed relaxing evening meal on the terrace. Well-placed to visit local area.

The property was absolutely beautiful. Outside was a picturesque country side and inside smelled amazing. Our hotel room was spacious, so clean and had a wonderful view of the hills. Most of all, the staff were so friendly and kind, always smiling. Isabelle looked after us so well. For example, when we couldn’t get a taxi or uber to the train station, she went above and beyond to help us.

“Gorgeous 16th century house close to Grasse with very very very nice people”

It’s a very beautiful house from the 16th century. We loved the family who owns it and helped us with everything, incl. parking. People are very friendly here and it’s a special place near Grasse. It’s dogs friendly, has a gorgeous terrace and very nice room with chimney and piano. The view was stunning. And we loved to wake up to the smell of freshly backed croissants for the breakfast. We had a very nice experience staying at La Bellaudiere.

The charm of the hotel is enhanced by the family who run the hotel and its position in terms of the view over the hills surrounding Grasse. The rooms are delightful and spacious and the food is sufficiently satisfying to negate any need to go in search of restraints. That is particularly so of the breakfast. Just to reiterate the personalities of the family running the hotel make this such an enjoyable experience. Charlie and Diana
