Very spacious house with two bathrooms. Very well equipped for when you have load shedding. Lovely mountain view from the front of the house. Close to town I would use this house again.

“Pleasant enough stay for one night, but property needs some sprucing up.”
Location was excellent, however the views were hidden due to thick fog (nothing the hosts could do about that).

Excellent stay and well looked after. Especially with tyre and wheel change after pot hole incident. On edge of town in quiet location. Enjoyed playing finger board in the evening. We'll equipped and roomy house.

The house is fully equipped and is a perfect base for all activities around Graskop. We did the famous "Jock of the Bushveld Trail" by simply starting the walk directly from the house. Blyde River Canyon is just 30min by car from here, the Berlin and Lisbon Falls are much closer, so is God's Window, Pinnacle Rock and Wonder View. Check in to The View was fairly straight forward. When we arrived, the owner was here to hand over the keys to us and to explain all details.

“an horrible experience due to an host who did not care of our well being at all”
It was a real nightmare . The owner was really a rude person. He did not take any responsability . There was No water in Graskop for a full day from 6 am to 7;30 pm and No electricity. We were freezing in this flat with no sun at all . You should also know There is no washing machine, no dryer ,no internet as extra , no room service all these are mentionned in this accomodation.. the owner knew there will be no water and no electricty for the all day and he did not inform us. He even did not care to bring a small gas so we can at least have a cup of hot tea as he said he will do. He disappeared and did not answer to our calls when we were in distress. It was a very traumatic experience. He always said it is the fault of 'the black government' but he should inform us before,we would not stay with no water and electricity in the darkness in the mountains in winter, we should find an other place. The information about this full day loadshedding was given 11 days before. His attitude towards us was really under the strict minimum you can expect from your host.

The location is superb, the unit is spacious with separate rooms for kitchen, toilet & showers, bed room. The kitchen is fully equipped, I also appreciate the cleanliness.
