“Beautiful lodge near the river”

Amazing that it has its own water and solar power, so despite the multi-day power outage in the Graskop region that also took out the water supply, we had power for lighting and charging and clean water. Lovely wooden lodges, right on the bank of the river. The owner lives on the farm and is super friendly.

Stunning location and such cozy chalets. Easy to access the Panorama Route and Graskop. We loved having coffee on the balcony overlooking the river in the morning, and had lovely walks with the host’s 3 sweet dogs to Lisbon Falls. Charl, our host, was also so friendly and helpful.

Location is beautiful & very quiet, the house was lovely & comfortable and had everything in it that you’d need overnight. Charl was lovely and great with communication & answering all my questions in advance, and was lovely in person too and great to chat to. Wonderful location, close the Lisbon Falls and nearby attractions. The cabins are near the river, spacious and extremely comfortable. Charl is a an excellent host. We loved it and will be back.

First of all Charl is a magnificent and welcoming host! Hes super kind and willing to help. Hes kindness and welcoming stayed with me for after the stay. Thank you so much! And yea, the location, a beautiful farm,with the river passing by, Plus super cute dogs :) Very close to Lisbon falls, God's window and all the attractions and town, but still immersed in nature. The cottage is vast,comfortable well equipped, and beautifully decorated, with nice old farm and family touches. Im sure a stay in this place will make your vacation better. Dont miss

A pleasant place in the middle of nature, in solitude, especially suitable for a few days' stay. In the countryside by the river, without wifi, a few minutes walk from the Lisbon waterfall. There are large but very friendly sheepdogs.

The location is very good. It's not far from the main attractions. It is very tranquil and beautiful. Charl was a good host. He welcomed us and made us feel comfortable. And we loved the dogs..!! They came to our cabin every day and kept watch over us. Very friendly dogs. Overall it was a very enjoyable stay.

We liked literally everything. A more than 150-year-old cottage house, yet good-looking and neat; serene ambiance of the small farm; picturesque riverbank location; proximity to Graskop (5 - 10 minutes’ drive), Sabie and Pilgrim’s Rest (25 - 30 minutes’ drive), and all the key natural wonders of the Blyde River Canyon (15 - 50 minutes’ drive depedning on what you're driving to). And of course, the host - Charl, one of the friendliest men you can imagine.
