Super setting. Very long stairs, but we managed at age 73. Excellent nearby shops and bars and restaurants.

“Lovely apartment in Granville”

Lovely apartment with great view of the fishing port. Good contact from owner with arrival instructions. Well appointed and clean. Fully equipped kitchen if you want to self cater. We didn't. Great to have the extra room an apartment offers after a couple of nights in "cosy" hotel rooms. Bear in mind it's on the third floor, up a narrow stairs. Take care, but easily doable. 5 minute walk to shops and restaurants.

Lovely house right ok the harbour front. Easy to walk into town and around the headland. Apartment was lovely with everything we needed. The hostess was so welcoming and helped us from the station in the rain!

This apartment is all about the view from its panoramic picture window, as the word 'Vigie' (lookout) in its title suggests. Although it comes equipped with a flatscreen TV, watching the comings and goings of Granville's fishing fleet, and of the local dogwalkers, right across the road is all the entertainment you'll need. We found the apartment to be well decorated and equipped, and to be kept spotlessly clean. The double bed in its one and only bedroom was also very comfortable. To the rear, the apartment is overlooked by the fine church of Notre Dame on the town's heights, from which a spectacular view of Granville and its coastline can be had. La Vigie is also just a short walk from the centre of Granville, including its promenade and associated beach. A little further along on a cliff top is one of the childhood homes of couturier Christian Dior, which is now a museum dedicated to commemorating his life and work. Uphill in the opposite direction, the town's lighthouse is well worth a visit. In fact, a visit to all of these attractions is highly recommended. The apartment is also surrounded by a selection of good restaurants, of which we found Le Phare and Les Casteliers to be particularly good and reasonably priced. For motorists like us, the plentiful supply of free on-street parking outside La Vigie was also a great boon. Although, we never met our host, Stephanie, we found her to be very accommodating and responsive both via messaging and telephone. As our ferry was delayed, she could not meet us herself on arrival, but sent her charming teenage son to receive us.

Location, location location. The appartement is right at the harbor with a great view. The walking distance to town, with restaurants, shops, groceries is just 5 minutes. The appartement was tastefully decorated and very clean. Free parking right in front of the building.

The host was really communicative. The apartment is big and bright and spacious. The view over the port is gorgeous. The bed room is really comfortable and the bed itself as well. The location is very good, close to all the places within walking distance. You can even see the light show at the port from the window.

great location by the water. there is a lovely big window and you can watch the fishing boats and tide going in and out!

Good view of the Port from the large front window and close to the old and the new town centres. Good value for money with free parking close by.
