Great location which we used a base to travel around Sligo/Donegal/Leitrim. Great facilities in the house. Helpful and informative host.

Quiet break quiet location, suited us. Homely would be a good description. Host very accomodating friendly, left us milk, scones tea coffee and sugar. Plenty of towels.

The location was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!! The house and amenities were awesome, we had everything we needed plus John left us treats! We were able to wash and hang out our laundry, cook ourselves some meals. The walk down back on the property and beyond was breathtaking, especially at sunset. All the roses were beautiful! The cows were my niece’s favourite part of the property! I can not say enough good things about John or his property. Thank you for everything! I would definitely recommend this spot to everyone!

John greeted us on arrival, and had the kettle boiled ready so we could make some tea. Location was beautiful - overlooking Benbulbin mountain. It was so quiet and peaceful. A short drive from Sligo or Bundoran.

A lovely small cottage (2 bedroom). Ideal for a couple. Warm and cosy. John the host was very kind and helpful. Beautiful views of Belbulben and a short walk to the beach.

It was a lovely location near Ben Bulbin and the sea with lovely restaurants within easy reach.The only downfall was the weather quite wet but thats the luck of the draw.

Perfect 2 bed cottage in a great location with beach and other attractions nearby. Lovely place for some peace and quiet and a break away from the city. John was very welcoming and even had milk and a cake for us when we arrived!!

Everything ,very clean and comfortable, John was very welcoming even had a wee cake and kettle boiled!! Near the sea beautiful scenery and views , very peaceful and safe for my boys to run about

We were met by John, the owner of the cottage, It's a 2 bedroom house, clean, quiet, and cosy, it's a self catering cottage so there were no staff but John the owner was very nice and always come to our assistance whenever I called him, the cottage is located in the country side of Sligo very close to the beach and less than 30 minutes drive to the city centre, I love the area it's very quiet and peaceful as I love quiet environment myself, the kids love it there as well and they didn't want to come back home, there are places to take the kids to and also accommodates adults as well, we drove to Donegal and Bundoran water World and took the kids to the fair ground there as well, which isn't very far from sligo, the kids had such a great time and kept asking when we were coming back to sligo and stay at the cottage again. All in all, we had a pleasant stay at Beezies Self Catering Cottage and hopefully we would visit sligo in the near future... Thanks so much John for a pleasant stay at your cottage it was home away from home 🏡.

“Fantastic location for family surfing weekend, beautiful cottage & property, gracious top-tier host!”

This was such an exceptional experience. Our host John is a true gentleman and made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. We loved the incredible views of Ben Bulben in the front and Streedagh out back, the cleanliness of the house, the comfort of the beds, the well-appointed kitchen, the lovely bar in the house, and the spacious back garden. The accessibility to Grange Village was very straightforward (7-minute drive) and we had lovely walks to Staad Abbey (15 minutes by foot) and Streedagh Beach (45 minutes by foot). On top of this all, John even arranged a lift to and from a local restaurant for us (he drove one of the legs!) as the local taxi driver was unfortunately in hospital the weekend we stayed at Beezies. Surfing at Streedagh and Rossnowlagh Strand were also in reach with surfboard and wetsuit rental at Surfworld in Bundoran. We will definitely be back!

I liked how it was out in the countryside but also accessible to sligo & bundoran. Also liked the wee bar area and the walkway through fields to get to the beach. Loved how he decorated for my dads birthday! Not many places would!
