We were so well welcomed upon arrival by johan & matija. The room was spacious and clean. The breakfast was excellent. They work with local products. Always friendly, nothing was too much for them to make our stay as pleasant as possible. Thank you for the hospitality, we felt really welcome during our stay! I highly recommend this charming place.

“A magical place where to feel like home”
Johan i Matija is an enchanted place, perfect to relax and enjoy Dalmazia. We had a car so we found the location convenient to reach in less than 30 minutes many places of interest on the east (like Roninj and Pula) and west coast (beautiful sea!). The rooms are renewed recently with taste in a rustic style that valorize the old stone building. Johan i Matija is located in Grandici, a little village of resident houses, farms and fields, perfect to relax and take a break from the city. The rooms are little apartments with their own bathroom, living room and kitchen. Everything was cleaned and we had all the comforts. Denize and Edi are two wonderful hosts and they made us feel like home (or maybe better). They are kind, funny and passionate about history, culture and...wine! They even have their own little production of oil and wine and it is possible to make a wine tasting of their products and to buy some bottles and nice hand made olive tree wood artifacts. The breakfast served outdoor is cozy and delcious: everything is local and fresh: ham, sausage, eggs, fresh vegetables, fruit, local cheese. We loved it and it was a wonderful stay! We are looking forward to come back to this magical place. Thank you Denize and Edi!

“Dream house for your vacation”
With vibrant colours and refined taste, this is a beautifully restored heritage house. It is a very peaceful place to recharge your batteries. The hosts are very friendly people. We were offered to taste Johan i Matija's wines, which are great. Breakfast consists of local products such as various cheeses, organic natural olives from the host's garden, prosciutto, marmalade, eggs, fresh bread, grilled and fresh vegetables with basil, a bit of garlic from their garden and of course great coffee. It is the perfect place to start the day slowly and enjoy a lovely breakfast. There is a little dog called Flocki in the neighbour's house across the road who greets guests and invites them to play with him. Our daughter (9 years old) loved the house and playing with the dog. At the end of our stay we bought some wine and olive oil.

Hosts were extremely friendly and forthcoming. The house and the apartment were beautiful and super clean. The house-wine was excellent too. We will definitely visit again
