“The AC works and you get what you pay for!”
We stay here every year during the Coast Guard Festival. The place has never let us down. It’s in a great location for getting around. It has plenty of nearby good options. It’s close enough that if you need to walk you can get everywhere in grand haven by walking and the room is always the right temperature. It also includes a microwave that has become more important to us than we ever could have imagined. We’ve never had any problems with staff when staying. Now this isn’t going to be a 4 star hotel with all the Amenities but it gets the job done and for a price that tells you what you are getting. It’s very basic, but that’s what we look for because we aren’t planning on spending a ton of time in the room. The beds are comfortable. The rooms are dark and no one really bothers you there. Oh and there is a fridge in the room too. Also key.

“I will NEVER do this mistake of going through an unknown booking company again.”
NOTHING.. It was disgusting. The very nice cleaning lady had door open and was making up the beds. Matresses were stained all over. The pillows were actually stained brown from who knows what.GROSS. I was charged 259.00 for one night because when you cancel you have to pay .

Location on main highway into city was easy to find. The lakefront and city center were some distance away but easily negotiated from the hotel.

“Very mediocre accommodations. If you can find something else, stay there.”
Breakfast was not served at all even though website stated it is included. Coffee was provided, but was mediocre quality and stale. Room was waaaay overpriced for what we received. We were surprised that room was actually clean, although when toilet clogged and my husband called for help, all they offered is plunger. My husband had to do the job himself.
