I am not much for scrambled eggs or omelettes so would prefer a whole egg fried but everything else was all we needed to get us started in the am and super convenient with the coffee/tea station to use outside of the breakfast hours. Location was perfect for a break in our travels

All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast room was very comfortable with a great view. The breakfasts were very well prepared. The lounge/common areas were comfortable. We had some lovely chats with other guests.

“What a beautiful place”
This building is exceptionally beautiful - it is something to see and obviously lovingly cared for. The hot breakfast was delicious, and the breakfast room is beautiful, like the rest of the building and grounds. Also , welcoming and gracious hosts.

“It wasn't a place we would stay long term but was sufficient for a night's stay before journeying on”
The location was in a very quiet spot in the city which was nice. However, we were on the first floor and the noise made by the clients on the second floor above us was annoying, every time they moved around their room the floor they walked on, our ceiling, squeaked and made cracking and creaking noises so it made it hard to fall asleep until they settled down for the night. Otherwise it is a beautiful place.
