The host Leon is the most genial and welcoming person you could wish for. My youngest daughter recommended this farm for me to stay in. Brilliant! The shared tables allow you to chat with other guests. The food is excellent . A special mention for the cheese course. mm yummy! Oh a special mention for the horses which is what the farm makes a special feature of for horse riding in the surrounding beautiful countryside in the area. Great fun!

Located in the beautiful Burgundy countryside, La Grange was a proper working French farm. Beautiful weather. Easy to chat to other guests and make friends.

Everything was wonderful — the dinner, breakfast, atmosphere, and people. Everyone was so kind, friendly, and cheerful. If you're looking to experience authentic French rural life, this might be the perfect place to visit and stay.

Clean and tidy. Basic and rustic but a great base in beautiful countryside. More functional than finesse. If you need superb attention to detail this is not for you. Around 20 minutes from the motorway. Extremely remote with some ‘interesting’ access roads. No other buildings nearby. Breakfast was simple and pleasant in a shared communal room which was warm and friendly. We did enjoy our stay and we wish we could have taken advantage of the beautiful countryside more. Visit the gorgeous stables to see the horses (which you can book to ride). 3 star kind of rating.

“Perfect place for a countryside stay!”

The location was wonderful within a picturesque organic farm in rural countryside, whilst also conveniently not far of the motorway. The accommodation was basic but this is exactly what was expected and it was very clean and great value. I was very happy to be able to join (on pre-booking) a communal dinner with other guests that was a delicious home-cooked 4 course meal! As a solo traveller (with dog) heading to southern france, it was great! My dog absolutely loved it too! We had a long walk around the farm and local area on the afternoon we arrived and the next morning. Encountered pigs and other farm animals!

Very large room. Located in the middle of the countryside, with plenty of avilable walks / runs. Lovely local villages.

The farmhouse property is located in fantastic countryside. The owner made a good breakfast. We stopped on route to Troyes.

beautiful location in the middle of a nature reserve and vast forests the place is very pretty and well looked after we had a very good meal with local wine at an extremely reasonable price

This place was amazing. Being a farm, I was expecting a shabby little bedroom, but was pleasantly surprised to have nice big room with a bathroom. It obviously isn't 4 star, and not immaculate, but generally very clean and tidy. The place is s quiet. It was really nice to sit outside with a beer in the evening. The owner was friendly and spoke good English. Paid just £56 UK for two people, but would have paid more.
