The gentleman who checked us into the the hotel was very nice and friendly. We requested a downstairs room since my wife has terrible arthritis. He gave her one. The young lady who served breakfast is very sweet and nice. Her bubbly, positive attitude would put the grumpiest person in a great mood!!! The room is large, and the bed and the room are very comfortable. We were very impressed!!! And, it was a very good price.

Bed was hard as a rock

The young lady at the front desk was very polite, she seemed to be the only employee day and night. (Owner was out of town) She always had a smile and didn't seem put out having to reprogram the room keys that were demagnetized not once, but twice. (Our cell phones were blamed) The rooms had no carpet which made the floor look clean. The furniture was plain, cheap looking and damaged, but functional.

It was close to shops. Good value for money

Breakfast was okay, but didn’t have that much choice. Very friendly staff at reception and the lady cleaning our room. Bed was awesome, very comfortable! Great location, only a few minutes from downtown Granbury on the 377.

We had room 101 and it was HUGE, there was enough room to comfortably hold an extra full-size bed. The room looked like it had recently been renovated but only the carpet was new. We had two queen beds, long table, chest w/TV, coffee maker, mini refrigerator, and microwave. The large vanity was outside of the bathroom, which is a big plus for women. This area also had a safe, an iron, and an ironing board. Strong wifi was free and our rate included a light breakfast . . . no eggs or meat but there were two kinds of juices, coffee, oatmeal, waffles, two kinds of cereal, and several varieties of sweet rolls. There is a trolley stop at this hotel too. I did not give this motel a perfect score because the sink/faucet were awkward. Not only was the counter higher than normal but the sink was too close to the faucet knobs making it unhandy and messy to do such easy things as washing our hands. There was a grab bar in the jetted tub but we still needed a non-slip mat in the tub. Other than these minor things, the place is excellent. The motel manager and reception lady were very warm and welcoming. We felt like we were returning to our favorite place. If we were to return, we will definitely stay here again.
