The host, Anita, was wonderful. Super attentive and helpful, always just a message away but gave us all the space and privacy we wanted. The house, is absolutely wonderful and a great place to rest & relax. The hot-tub is a great treat and we really enjoyed having it available to us in our (private) garden. You need to get transport to go to any other location but the bus stop is only a short walk away. There's also 2 supermarkets very close by at walking distance and plenty of places to eat. Being removed from the busy touristic areas, meant we got to experience a lot more of the local traditional culture, which was what we were looking for.

“A beautiful oasis garden in Granadilla”

Staying in the guest house of Anita was a very nice experience. The best part is the cozy garden with its beautiful plants, the hot tub and the corner for our evenings. The garden is situated in between the walls of several houses, which makes it perfect for enjoying the days and evenings without the unpleasant winds from the east. During our stay the weather was not great and often cloudy but during the sunshine moments the feeling of staying in the garden was great. Anita is a very kind person and it was a pleasure meeting her and visiting her artistic space. She gave us tips about the town and what one could do in the area. It was really kind of her to accept a friend of us as an additional guest. Overall, we enjoyed our stay a lot!

“Great place to stay in Granadilla”

Great communication from Anita prior to our arrival. Anita was staying out there during our stay so we were met by her on our arrival and were able to have a lovely chat about things to do, restaurants etc in Granadilla. The apartment is in a lovely old Canarian house and has been sympathetically restored, the outside space is large, unfortunately while we were there it was a little cool especially morning and evening so we did not make full use of it, likewise we did not opt to use the hot tub (there is a supplement for this). Granadilla was a great place to stay, the house is in the middle of town so there are lots of places to eat nearby and Mercadona is not far away. Good to have a walk around town, just across the road is a lovely convent, if you can have a peak into the courtyard. The local history museum is in a lovely street nearby and had a great local artist picture exhibition. Worth taking a walk up behind the church to the gofio mill which is a working mill were locals go to buy their gofio, further up behind here you get great views from where the Casa Tagora restaurant is and a little further round is the plaza de Santa Lucia. We had snacks at Bar Rogue, just across the road, at Suzie Q's almost next door, Churreria Mencey, and 3 times at Arepa 82 which was very good. While in the middle of town the apartment was super quiet and had the feel of being out in the countryside. Anita was a great host which made our stay so much more enjoyable.

“Amazing stay in traditional Spanish house/flat in the middle of Granadilla de Abona.”

Very polite Anita (artist), the owner, was personally interested and looked after us during the stay. Amazing traditional but fully equipped flat on the 1st floor with terrace, whirlpool, and barbecue. Total privacy there. Fantastic garden with various plants in the art garden arranged with artistic feeling. A cat family with two very young kittens were our pals during the whole stay too. Later we were very sad that we did not visit Anita's art gallery. But we see it on FB. Great art, great community! Thanks for all, for the amazing stay @Tenerife!

Ana met us with the keys upon arrival, she was really helpful and explained everything about the house, and gave us some suggestions about whre to visit. The house was great, really clean and we had everything we needed, plus the hot tub was such a nice addition and we used it every day!
