Overview
Set within the grounds of the Alhambra Palace, Parador de Granada has a beautiful location. Housed in a 15th-century convent, this luxurious hotel features a popular restaurant. The Parador combines original features including stone archways, beamed ceilings and antique furnishings with chic, contemporary décor. Each room has free wired internet access, a flat-screen TV, air conditioning and a fully equipped bathroom. The restaurant serves a range of traditional Andalusian cuisine and features a terrace overlooking the Alhambra’s gardens. There is also a traditional enclosed patio, where guests can relax with a drink. Granada’s old town and the cathedral are both just 10 minutes’ walk from the Parador. Bib Rambla Square, with its bars and cafés, is less than 1 km from the hotel.

“Best experience”
Undoughtably the best experiance we have had. The room was large and cosy, best night sleep. The view looking from the terrace for our meals were magnificent. Thank you and a big thankyou to Lina for coming to our rescue..🙂 10/10

“Good location, but not good value for money.”
Location is exceptional, however it was sub par in terms of value for money. It would have been better if there was something included in the package - eg if only a brief walk through the buildings at night. The staff at the front desk were welcoming and provided good service.

“It was a wonderful experience.”
Both the breakfast and dinner were delicious, and the location was excellent. As it was just a short walk from the Alhambra, we were able to pop out for a stroll in the mornings and evenings, which was absolutely lovely.

Historical context: as it’s located in the grounds of the Alhambra, you were completely immersed in the experience and the visit. The gardens are magnificent, as is the beautiful cafeteria overlooking the gardens and the Alhambra

“An amazing location.”
The hotel was set in the grounds of the Alhambra which was wonderful. Our room was spacious and clean. It looked over the cafe courtyard and out towards the General Life. We were very comfortable. The parador has beautiful gardens to its entrance. There is limited parking and it is necessary to book this in advance. We were pleased to secure parking and our car was valet parked. It was lovely eating lunch on the cafe terrace looking at the views. The restaurant was good too. We would recommend the fish baked in salt! The staff were pleasant, helpful and efficient. The Alhambra itself is amazing - we went on both a day and a night tour and we're pleased we had done both. Granada itself was a good place to visit with its cathedral many historic sites. There were many good eateries. We would recommend staying here.
