Overview
Hotel Palacio de Mariana Pineda is a renovated 17th-century palace in the Albaycín district of Granada, facing the Alhambra. It offers free Wi-Fi and a variety of beauty and massage treatments. The palace is named after the revolutionary martyr Mariana Pineda, who lived at the palace in the 19th century. In the courtyard there is a pillar with an original sculpture of a shield, and the hotel has a museum charting its history. All rooms at the Palacio Mariana Pineda have a private bathroom decorated with original artisan tiles, and most come with a hydromassage bath. Each room has satellite TV with 54 international channels, and there are laptops available for guests’ use. The Palacio de Mariana Pineda Hotel is next to the River Darro and 400 metres from Granada Cathedral. The district of Albaycín is a UNESCO World Heritage site.

Fantastic location for visiting the Alhambra. Nice room, old style. Discounted parking (public, 15 mins walk away, which is a shame but you will understand when you get to Granada).

Good location, overlooking the river. Busy street below but sound did not impact sleep. Beautiful building. Nice extra to have spa bath in the room.

Beautiful views from our hotel window, great location in Granada and each room was individually full of character. Nice simple breakfast. We loved our two nights there.

“Beautiful, historic hotel in a very charming part of the city”
I don’t really know what to say other than this place is faultless. Beautiful, historic building with a lovely courtyard. The trickling sound of the centuries old fountain is so soothing. The room was equally as lovely. Very nice big bed, tasteful decoration. Bath with whirlpool. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful.

Very spacious room. Plenty of storage even in the bathroom. Patio style of hotel was delightful and refreshingly cool inside. Several small areas in which to sit. Bedroom was right above the main street so lots of activity below, sometimes by enthusiastic but happy visitors! Very much in the centre of things here. Good shops and restaurants within easy walking distance.
