Overview
Set on a Nasri-period building from the XV Century, El Granado Hostel is located on a small street in the centre of Granada, just a 5-minute walk from the Cathedral. A buffet breakfast and free WiFi are available. El Granado Hostel offers elegant accommodation with hardwood floors and modern furnishings, and it includes rooms and bunk beds in dormitories. Guests can make use of the fully equipped kitchen and lounge area with TV and computer, or relax outdoors in the courtyard terrace. There are several bars, restaurants and shops near El Granado Hostel. Staff are happy to provide more information about the city main sights and attractions, including the Alhambra and Granada’s charming Albaycín neighbourhood. The Train Station is within 15 minutes’ walk of El Granado Hostel and the Bus Station is 3 km away.

“Great hostel!”
Clean, beautiful hostel. Beds have curtains, shelves, big lockers, ambient light. Lots of space to dry clothes. Staff are lovely and friendly, good social vibe without feeling too forced or organised. Would definitely stay there again next time I’m in Granada!

I think this is actually the best hostel i've ever stayed in. Granada is such a beautiful place and the tourguides can tell you a lot about the people, the history etc. I really recommend everyone to do the hikes and go to the sunset tour aswell. Ask the staff/guides about recommendations on where to eat, drink etc. They'll be able to show you some places you might not find as a tourist. Also the hostel has a nice terrace where you can easily get in touch with the other people. It was a 10/10 through and through! Thanks to everyone for being so welcoming :)

Beautiful old building with open patios and two wonderful roof terraces. The roof is the life of El Granado. My 3rd time visiting!

“One of my favorite hostels”
It was my second time in El Granado. Just like last time I ended up extending my stay, both because I enjoy Granada so much and the hostel in itself. In total I've stayed in 231 hostels (yes, I keep count) El Granado is one of my favorites. The hostel has a really good atmosphere. The rooms are nice and comfortable. There is activities you can join every day and communal dinners some days. A WhatsApp group makes it easy to stay up to date on the activities and connect with other guest. The kitchen and other common areas are good to hang out. The staff was friendly and nice

“I would stay here again !”
Everything ! The lovely/warm receptionists and staffs. The shower had steaming hot water in winter ❤️ The room was well heated. Lockers were large enough for backpacks Close to all attractions

I loved the hostel, the location is great you can walk around for hours and still get to the hostel in minutes the stuff is friendly you really feel like home.

“Charming hostel with great atmosphere, but some noise issues”
The hostel has a relaxed atmosphere and a lot of character thanks to the historic building. We stayed in a spacious and clean ground-floor room facing the street. The bed was comfortable, although the mattress is quite firm. There is a small kitchenette with a sink and a kettle. Cooking facilities are available on the 3rd floor (no elevator), where there is a shared kitchen, living room and a rooftop terrace. This is a pleasant communal space to relax and meet other guests.
