The location is in Albaicin which is great if you want something more quiet. It's also on the edge so even if youre in Albaicin, youre still very near to the central part where everything else is. Going to the place involves a bit of an uphill walk though with suitcases. Involves stairs too. Not too drastic but still something to consider. Room itself was sufficient, sofa seemed old and not sure if cleaned but it was nice that there was a living area separate to the bedroom. Bathroom was also good. There is airconditioning. There's also a shared kitchen but when youre in Granada you will likely be eating out most of the time to take advantage of the free tapas. Host was helpful and detailed in giving tips for around the area.

Sadly I didn't get to meet Mario in person but he was always available by WhatsApp and sent very detailed instructions about how to access the property including a video. He was also incredibly helpful with information about taxis - where to get them and other options for getting around the city.

“An atmospheric place in the wonderful city of Granada”

The building has a great location in Granada's Old Town. Access to the property requires overcoming several winding and narrow streets, which may be difficult for those with heavy luggage. The quiet and peaceful neighborhood is a major advantage. The room has its own style and has access to a large terrace directly adjacent to the room. Other facilities include air conditioning with a heating function (quiet operation), a small refrigerator and a kettle for heating water. The large shower in the bathroom is an added plus.

Location was great. Good kitchen facilities and free tea provided. Big shower. Comfortable bed. Very friendly host with great recommendations upon arrival.

Nice room with good views

The bed was comfortable and we were sleeping well because hostel is located in a quiet area. Communication with the host was good and smooth - we got usefull tips and check in was easy. Thank you.

We had very nice stay. Contact with the host was very good. All the instructions for the check out and check in were very clear. We also could leave our luggage after check out and it was life-saving for us. The whole patio and apartment is very pretty. We visited the city during winter and it was warm inside (AC plus additional heater). In apartament we had all the basic supplies, a microwave is a great and helpful addition. Localization was perfect. We like walking around the cities and this spot was in the middle, surrounded by all attractions. We arrived by bus, there is no parking around this might be important to people who travel by car.

Very pleasant and attentive communication with the landlord. The heating system is perfectly resolved and can be tuned to your wishes so it is warm inside which is great for the cold season. The large double room is away from the entrance and next to the sufficiently equipped kitchen giving you perception of home and privacy. The location is convenient for observing Albaicin and Sacromonte not to forget the central Cathedral itself. The train station can be reached walking with your backpacks, the bus station is rather by bus (approximately 20 minutes) or by taxi (if you are in hurry, 7.3 EUR) from a nearby square. The neighbourhood looked clean and secure

“Excellent location and communication”

It was in an excellent location and part of a very quiet alley among the cute narrow streets of Albaicin area. Everything was walkable and close by. The host was very responsive and helpful with local recommendations. We were recommended to walk from train station (20 mins) and walk to Alhambra (a beautiful 20 min walk) - very helpful suggestions. The host also helped us book a flamenco show.

I recommend, recommend, and recommend again :-) This was one of the best places I've ever stayed. It was quiet and had a beautiful view from the terrace. Excellent communication with the owner. We were delighted with the apartment and want to return. Granada is a wonderful city.
