“Very comfortable quiet stay on ideal location”

We stayed three nights in room 6, a twin room on the ground floor near the pool. An oasis of tranquility, we slept very well. The main building and the nice garden in which are the buildings with the rooms are a beauty to see. It is only three streets away from the central square. Very easy the receptionist could arrange for us the boat tour along the islands, a trip in the evening to the vulcano and transport to our next destination.

“Amazing Amazing Amazing”

Still here in this amazing place as we extend to stay. If there is more than 10 points, I would give more. The rooms, the decor, the facilities in the room, all are my utmost liking. It’s not 5 stars but attention to details for guests are all met. Light above the mirror, places/shelvings to put things in the shower room and in the room. Minor but important things most hotel neglects. And most importantly the staff (Nadine especially) is a star of this hotel for us. All are very nice and very friendly, smiley, all questions or requests are dealt with smile. But Nadine spent hours of her time helping me with tours, washing and other needs on the first day. We had such a good laugh too. She should be given the best receptionist of the year of all hospitality sectors in the world. She upgraded our room and she said she wanted to because she liked me! What a touching and un-business like favour and service I ever had. Nicaragua is my 69th country in-the world visited so far and she is the one to remember for a long time. Thank you Nadine. I don’t regularly do the reviews but this place I have to as we are liking it so much.

“A true gem in the heart of Granada”

Casa San Francisco felt like a peaceful oasis in the heart of Granada! From the moment we checked in after a long journey, we were greeted with a warm smile - and this positive impression would last for the whole five days we spent here. We enjoyed every moment of our stay, not just because of the beautiful garden, the pool and the cozy rooms, but especially because of the attentive and wonderful staff who were always ready to help and support. You can truly feel how much love has been put into this place, not only into the hotel itself, but also into making you feel at home! We were especially impressed by the included à la carte breakfast and the hotel’s bar. The location is perfect for exploring the city starting tours etc. We also had great experiences using the hotel’s laundry service and following their recommendation for a local spa! We highly recommend staying at Casa San Francisco and would love to come back one day. :)

“Lovely”

Lovely boutique hotel. Very peaceful, great little dipping pool to cool off in and rooms were a good size. Breakfast was tasty and staff were friendly and helpful for the most part.

“A fun, chillaxing stay.”

Beautifully restored traditional home. Quiet, with lush gardens and refreshing pool. The staff and host, Terry are wonderful people, friendly and willing to help. The location is excellent you can walk everywhere. Great food options and Maria at reception can help with tours and transportation. The breakfast options are varied and the ones we tried were filling and delicious. I highly recommend this property. I hope to return.

“Beautiful oasis of a hotel”

The room was tidy, comfortable, spacious and the bathroom was great. Aircon also works really well. The grounds feel really peaceful, with a clean and cool pool. The area is quiet and close to attractions. The staff were just incredible, so helpful and friendly. Breakfast was also delicious with lots to choose from. Highly highly recommend

Beautiful quaint place with genuinely kind staff and owners. They really do make you feel welcome and we will return as soon as we get the opportunity. Breakfast is very nice and the connected restaurant is wonderful for dinner or drinks and tapas...No need to go anywhere else. Location is close to all the action but just far enough to be quiet and relaxing. Thank you so much for our beautiful stay

“Fabulous colonial hotel with amazing staff”

The staff are amazing and honour of their way to make sure you’re comfortable. The in house English speaking guide (Giovanni) is excellent too and is a nice touch. The hotel helped arrange all outfitters and transfers and were an absolute pleasure to stay with. Best hotel of our trip so far!!

“Great choice for your stay in Granada!”

Room was great; spacious, a lot of wall sockets, option to use an ac or a fan, comfortable bed and kitchen with some utensils. Balcony was chill, offered some privacy and enough space to relax with a book. Moreover, the location was good; not too busy street, the city centre was a 3-5 minute walk. Breakfast area was lovely and many options on the menu (for the vegetarians as well). The ladies at the reception were very friendly and even arranged breakfast to go when we had to leave very early on our last day in Granada. Thanks for everything! 😊

Very nice staff, good location, very clean

“Tranquil and beautiful”

Everything about this place is wonderful! We loved our room, we were upgraded to a room on the upper floors and it was just gorgeous. The pool is very refreshing after a day exploring the city. The location of this hotel is right in the heart of all the great spots - around the corner from the chocolate museum, the garden cafe, the cathedral, the convent. The staff couldn’t have been nicer and sweeter. Breakfast was yummy. It feels like a true boutique stay whilst still keeping their prices reasonable.
