Very stylish and comfortable boutique hotel. Esther was a great host and super helpful with advice on things to do as well as the best places to go for food. Also recommended a great massage nearby! Hazel prepared a lovely breakfast each day and even helped out with some laundry that I had. The hotel is in a great location and was perfect for my stay as a solo traveller but would also be amazing for couples. The room was spacious and the bed comfortable. The common areas, garden and the pool were an added bonus!

“Perfect place to base yourself in Granada”

I would recommend this guest house to absolutely everyone. It's beautifully presented and very clean, a 10 min walk away from the main centre of Granada and feels very safe. Esther was the best host! She gave us heaps of helpful suggestions and helped to organise a lot of things for us like kayaking, hiking and ziplining. We had a different breakfast every morning which was absolutely delicious. Will 100% stay here again if ever in Granda.

Where do I start :) we loved everything about casa cubana. We were welcomed by Esther, the host, who received us with open arms and gave us all the information about Granada that we needed. The stunning colonial house is just a beautiful oasis in the busy town of Granada. It’s super clean and well looked after, has a nice little pool with the most beautiful garden. The breakfast was super delicious and made with love by Hazel, who is also a very sweet person. We can’t say one bad thing about this accommodation since we had the nicest stay and it was perfect to arrive in Nicaragua. Thanks Esther, Andy and Hazel! We’ll come back for sure. PS.: Bella, their dog was just the cutest!!!!

“Don’t Look any Further, just book!”

we had the most amazing stay at Esther’s home. She and Andy were so welcoming and helpful, providing everything we needed. the pool area is beautiful, and the rooms so luxurious. We slept amazingly in the huge beds. The shower was great and had hot water, something we have often struggled to find on our travels. The wifi was also very fast. A final mention for Hazel who’s breakfasts were some of the best we’ve had travelling central america. Truly felt at home during our stay, don’t hesitate to book

This place has such a high rating for something you have to experience yourself! Esther, besides being a wonderful and friendly host, I think she can advise you on everything you need in Granada including a beautiful tours (such as private tour on Islets of Granada Islands with an English speaking guide), or the best place to find medical help (we had an accident on our motorbike). The accommodation itself is like being in a beautiful colonial residence from the early 20th century with everything you need. A rich breakfast served directly to your table, a swimming pool surrounded by greenery and a beautiful decorated stylish room. You can easily spend the whole day here and you will not be sad that you missed a day in the city... :) If I will be in Granada again, I will stay here again! Thank you Esther for the beautiful atmosphere you create and for all the help you gave us...

“This is the place to stay in Granada!”

This is the place to stay in Granada! Our stay at Casa Cubana made our whole trip to Nicaragua significantly better. We spent here our first few days in the country and the clean, large, comfortable, and silent room gave us an excellent chance to get rid of our jetlag. The breakfast was amazing, the swimming pool was clean and cold, and getting to the center of the city was an easy 10-minute walk. I specifically loved the mini garden/jungle with the tortoise in the house. The room and the place would deserve its own 10 in itself, but Esther, the owner adds another 2 to the score easily. She made an extraordinary effort to help us get to know the city and find the best entertainment options. She organized everything for us! Great many thanks for everything!!!

Absolutely recommend this place. For me coming off Ticabus after a long journey it was about a 100m walk. Such a haven to find, lovely rooms, pool and breakfast, hard to beat. 10 mins to centre of town, good restaurants near, but in a lovely local environment with plenty of friendly locals sitting outside on the street and doors wide open. Felt very safe. And very well priced!

The house is beautifully restored and has a gorgeous swimming pool in the internal courtyard, perfect for cooling down. Fabulous breakfast! Great hosts, very helpful.

“The Best Accommodation in Granada”

This was by far our favorite accommodation in Nicaragua and we stayed in very nice places throughout our trip! The property manager, Esther, is incredibly kind a gracious and meeting her was a highlight of our time in Granada. This property is even better than the pictures depict. Casa Cubana is well equipped with large bathrooms, hot water (the only accommodation we had with a hot shower in Nicaragua), comfortable beds, and well-working Air Conditioning units in each bedroom. We are definitely hoping to return to Nicaragua and when we do, we will spend much more time in Granada and make it our base for exploring the country. Definitely stay here if you see any availability! We will try to be back!

We had an amazing stay at casa cubana. Our suite was lovely and the pool area was very nice. What made our stay was the hospitality of the staff, particularly Esther who went above and beyond to help me with bookings and recommendations throughout our stay!
