Overview
El Almirante is a pleasant, eco-friendly hotel located in Granada's historic centre, 500 metres from Granada Cathedral. Set in pretty gardens, it offers an outdoor pool, sun terrace and free Wi-Fi. The colonial-style, air-conditioned rooms at Hotel El Almirante Granada all include eco-friendly appliances. Each has a plasma cable TV, minibar, safe and en-suite bathroom. Breakfast is served daily and the hotel restaurant serves both regional and international dishes. There is a comfortable lounge and bar and on Saturdays there is a BBQ on the restaurant’s courtyard grill. The hotel offers car rental and tourist information. Pretty central park is just a 5 minutes’ walk away and you can go fishing or on a boat tour round Lake Nicaragua, 10 minutes’ drive away. El Almirante offers free parking and is 35 minutes’ drive from Managua International Airport.

“Perfect”
We stayed 3 nights here, and really enjoyed it. Everything was perfect: good location, clean room, comfortable bed, nice decor, delicious breakfast and coffee. Liked the pool as well. The staff was very helpful.

“It was the best value hotel I had in Nicaragua - Good standard hotel and exceeded expectations.”
I had a single room but idea for my needs . Good WI-FI , nice pool . Had a small fridge to keep things cool ,and TV . Has pleasant restaurant, serving a good breakfast included in the price . Central location two blocks rom main plaza

“Good place for a city break”
Great location, breakfast was delicious, the pool was a very welcome relief from the heat of the city. Rooms were ok but the staff were really nice and welcoming. A good little place to stay for a short break.

“Great stay”
Everything was to like - exceptionally clean, great value for money at around 45 USD per night and the staff are great. It’s a small almost family run place but this adds to the great feeling here! Best place to stay in Granada

“Really nice comfortable with good aircon and nice facilities”
I had booked another hotel but was let down. Despite confirming my booking when I got there they said it wasn't now available. So I had to quickly find another place. I wanted a pool as it was so hot and I needed to cool down. It was probably the nicest hotel I stayed in the whole trip. The pool was outside my room. They had events on when I was there but for me it just added to the experience. I had to leave early and the chef put together some scrambled egg and bread in a box and a coffee even though it was outside their breakfast hours.Loved the pool.

I like the fact that breakfast was included in the package and also that there were 3 choices to choose from. I also liked how easy it was to check in and out of the facility. Accessing the facility was another great thing, taxis were always available.

Nice hotel in the centre of Granada, with good size rooms. After a full day of tours under the sun, we enjoyed the access to the swimming pool until 10pm.

Great value and great location. We extended our stay to enjoy the place a little longer. Pool is perfect for an afternoon swim. Breakfast was definitely worth it! Would stay again and highly recommend!
