What a lovely place, so roomy very clean and well maintained a great place for a holiday, the hosts Francesco and Lisa are fabulous, many thanks for the welcome beers and wine, also well stocked with tea and coffee, a lot of thought and care has gone into this place, Lovely restaurants nearby and beach not far, bus stop around the corner for the Mall A lovely coffee and shop near called sweet Natty 👌

“Lovely little villa”

Villa was nice and homely. All the special little touches in the villa was really well thought of. Beers, water, coffee pods, women's sanitary pads. Just perfect. Hosts were amazing and so helpful.

Great, well equipped apartment with very thoughtful hosts! Excellent to have shopping bags and picnic tubs in the kitchen as well as coffee pods and kitchen roll - all very well thought out.

Location was very handy for the surrounding region, close to the beach. The pool was lovely and refreshing. We had plenty of space in the house and the host provided everything we needed for our family of five.

Host Francesco was wonderful. Excellent pre stay contact with lots of information. He met us and showed us round the property providing us again with lots of useful information. He had supplied toilet rolls, tea, coffee, olive oil and more. A lovely touch was a bottle of chilled wine and lagers in the fridge along with olives etc. The villa was very very clean and well equipped. The beds were firm but really comfortable. The air conditioning was wonderful. Lovely veranda to sit and chill. One bathroom with walk in shower and one downstairs toilet with a sink and large mirror. Would love to see wall mirrors in both bedrooms. If you want to lay out in the sun there is a roof terrace with two sun loungers. The location of the villa is in a very peaceful, clean, gated community. Wonderful large pool right outside. Did mention it would be nice to have pool towels which I think Francesco might consider providing but check before you go. There are some restaurants and bars very close by which generally seemed to be geared towards a British clientele. Our absolute favourite was a Spanish owned and run cafe where we had a glorious brunch called Cafe Fleur which served beautiful home cooked food such as Eggs Benidict along with wonderful cakes and freshly squeezed juice. We also ate at a lovely greek restaurant. If the more British vibe is enough for your needs then perfect but if you want to visit for example San Paulo you need a car. We struggled getting taxis but we did find one in the end which was €25. For our return we managed to find the taxi rank and this only cost €14. There is a bus service but not sure how reliable as didnt use it. Carabassí Beach is a 20 minute walk along a virtually flat road and board walk. The beach was clean with sunbeds €25 per day for 2 beds and umbrella. The water was quite rough but you could walk out quite a way and still touch the floor which was nice.

Francesco was a fabulous host. The property was amazing. We pretty much had the pool to ourselves most days.

Villa was perfect and seconds from restaurants and shops. Perfect for a chill time. Short walk to the beach but if you want more youd likely need a car. Hosts were lovely, engaging and checked we were ok. Perfect peace.

“Fantastic accommodation in Gran Alacant”

Fantastic accommodation, everything had been thought of. Sun first thing in the morning on the patio. Easy to contact Francesco re key collation, he was very proactive. Short walk to the beach. Lovely bottle of wine, beers, coffee and tea supplied. Easy to find. Will definitely book again. We should have stayed longer.

“A great house, in a great location, with great home comforts and a quiet residential area to relax in and enjoy…”

Location, layout, clean and tidy and ceiling fans in each room which were excellent as it meant you didn’t need A/C hardly at all. The pool is close and was a great size.. plenty of places to lie down and relax and or sunbathe. Walking distance 10 mins or less with no hills or inclines, both ways.. to the Carabassi beach restaurants and bars, so that was great. 12/15 min easy drive to Alicante. Walking distance to the Thursday open air market. Walking distance to Aldi’s, & Gabe indoor market; which pretty much sells everything you could need or want to buy… especially should you have forgotten anything ..! A lovely bottle of decent white wine, several beers and bottled water were waiting for us in the fridge.. an unexpected but thoughtful and much welcomed bonus at no extra cost. Plenty of clean towels.. Plenty of toilet rolls/kitchen roll. Plenty of everything really .. Great lounge area, nice HD TV and we all felt the house was comfortable and deserved its Booking.com rating. To Francesco.. Thanks for the hospitality and the understanding when our flight was delayed .. you are a great host..

“villa de sol experience”

A lovely holiday home that was equipped with every thing you need . Great location, Only a very short walk to the carabassi center, which has a lot of great bars and restaurants. The lovely carabassi beach is also in walking distance. Big thankyou to francesco, the owner of the house. A very nice man who makes a great effort to do what ever he can to accomadate his guests. We had a late flight that was delayed ,but francesco patiently stayed up to welcome us to the house, and he was kind enough to give us a late checkout, after requesting was it possible. Would highly recommend this holiday home.

“Wonderful stay in Alacant!”

Francesco is the great guy who welcomed us even in the night due to late flight arrival. Apartment is great, perfectly equiped and well located. We appreciated all the things prepared for our little kid such as cot, chair, towel or cuttlery. Highly recommended.

“A quiet little paradise”

The property was absolutely beautiful! Absolutely spotless. Had everything we needed for a great stay. Plenty of room in the villa. The beds were so comfy slept so well during our stay the shutters pull down to block out the sun, the air con was great and kept us both cool. The coffee machine was a great touch. The gated community is lovely felt very safe and local people very welcoming and friendly. The pool is excellent we basically had it to ourselves it’s very quiet there and peaceful. Everything we wanted was in walking distance. Great restaurants bars just across the street, beautiful beach. The owner was so helpful and made some local recommendations which was great! Would highly recommend and hope to return

“Excelent option”

Very clean and well take care of house. The pool is just in front of the house and it is big enough. Francesco was a very nice host, providing a lot of information on the Accomodation and the area. It has a parking space and it is locate in a gated community. It has dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, all that you need and supplies are provided for all.

“Beautiful property, exceptional hosts.”

The property is located in a very quiet and safe neighbourhood. It was possible to park the car right in front of the house and the swimming pool is only a couple of steps away. Air conditioning and WiFi were excellent. The beds were very comfortable too. Francesco and Lise were extremely helpful and welcoming. Thanks for having us! We highly recommend this property.
