“The Convent.”
Staying in a convent is not an everyday thing and I was a little pensive about.my booking, but I was pleasantly surprised by the couvent. Very austere and grand, but equally beautiful. Allthough the restaurant is very utilitarian, the staff were very attentive and polite and the food was sublime. Breakfast was buffet style with comprehensive and filling offerings of cake, different breads, cheese and meat platters, yoghurt, jam and honey from the estate. If I am back this way I will stay again. Merci.

It is a beautiful location and historical building and accessible friendly, so wheelchair friendly and super clean and modern rooms, warm in winter. The restaurant on site is excellent with very good value. It would be very safe as a single woman on your own and you can walk easily into the village.
