This 4-star superior hotel in Grainau is beside the Eibsee lake, directly at the foot of the Zugspitze mountain. It offers free Wi-Fi, a modern spa and many recreational opportunities. “Very peaceful and beautiful hotel”
The location of the hotel is stunning with the backdrop of Zugsptize and Lake Eibsee right outside your bedroom window. We enjoyed that all the food and drink, and facilities were all included so we didn’t have to worry about payment. In addition the selection of wines and prosecco was incredible and the food was superb every night.

Great location-lake view, mountain view, next to Zugspitze cable car and has a bus stop right in front. Great facilities and helpful staff.

Beautiful spa hotel, good value for what you get with 3/4 board. Delicious food, beautiful hikes, indulging spa with lake access. Also really appreciated that one could use the spa until 1pm on the day of departure.

Stunning location.Eibsee is one of the most beautiful lakes i have ever visited and the hotel is located at the like.My hotel room had gorgeous view at the lake.The room was clean,the bed was comfortable.The hotel had a reataurant and food was good.The staff were all very nice too.

The location is simply breathtaking – right on the lake with stunning views in every direction. Our panoramic suite overlooking both the mountains and the lake was unforgettable – waking up to that view just couldn’t get better. A truly special place to stay at the foot of the Zugspitze.

“Wonderful stay at the Eibsee Hotel”
The hotel offers an excellent value for money 💶 : the room was comfortable and the included half-board very convenient. The meals were varied and delicious 🍴, definitely up to expectations. The restaurant has huge panoramic windows overlooking the lake 🌊 – a true highlight, especially at breakfast when I loved starting my day with such a stunning view. My room had a terrace with an amazing view of both Lake Eibsee and the mountains 🏔️💙 – such a privilege to wake up to that scenery! The hotel also provides great amenities: direct access to the private beach 🏖️ with kayaks and paddle boards 🚣♀️🛶 to explore the lake. A magical and refreshing experience. I didn’t get the chance to try the spa 💆♀️, but it’s available and adds to the already well-rounded offer. The surroundings are just as exceptional: Lake Eibsee is one of the most beautiful in Germany 🌿, located at the foot of the Zugspitze 🚡. Whether walking around the lake or going up to the summit, there’s plenty to enjoy! 👉 In short: a wonderful hotel in a unique setting, perfect both for relaxing and exploring this stunning region.

The location, cleanliness, and staff were perfect. Bence Toth was a pleasure to meet and made the best drinks :-) Overall the experience was better than we could have imagined. The access to the kayaks, paddle boards, and paddle boats was a nice surprise. Outstanding in every way and will be going back in December.

“Perfect hotel by the lake”
The location on the lake is super amazing. The view of the lake from your room is incredible ! You need to book the room with lake view. The spa is also very spacious.
