“Everything perfect”

Everything: the attention, tour around the farm, breakfast, surroundings. Perfect place to do excursions in the region.

If you are looking for peace and quiet, away from crowds and noise, this is the place to be. The apartment is spacious, has almost everything you need for a comfortable stay, the only thing that I'd add is a microwave in the kitchen. But the rest was great. Host is very nice and helpful. Accommodation very comfortable and well decorated. We enjoyed it.

So peaceful. Well presented. And in our apartment only 3 steps. Glad as we had been having 3 flights of stairs prior to this. Amazing family. Well done to the hardworking daughters who showed us around the property.

The venue had a beautiful garden and view and we adored every minute of it. The hostess was very friendly and took the time to recommend us places. The inside of the apartment was clean and practical. All you need was there. We chose to have breakfast and it was all home made. You can see that the hostess invest to make your stay as great aa possible. Lastly, we had so much fun with the animals. They were so friendly and we were happy that we could pet them.

Mateja and her family were amazing hosts. The children gave us a full tour of the barn, with the lovely dog, two pigs, rabbit, many goats, chickens, geese, … and led us to the four lovely horses on the meadow. The breakfast was absolutely amazing. Mateja left it on trays in front of our room at a time that we convened, and we could eat inside or outside, as we pleased. It was something different every day. We had local dishes, as well as variety of cheese, cold cuts, eggs from the farm, fruit, bread, croissants, jam, and honey,… one day, there was even a little handwritten note to explain the local dishes on the tray. It felt so lovely and personal. there was also a small tray with a walnut liqueur in our room, which was delicious. There are helpful brochures with suggestions of activities. We drove to the Križna caves, just a few minutes away, which had great guided tours every two hours ( summer schedule), and went for dinner nearby. there would’ve been much more to do, botanical or or ornithologic guided tours, bear watching, swimming in the nearby lake, etc… this is definitely a place where you could easily spend 4 to 5 days exploring. Also great for jogging! The kitchen is well equipped, there is a fridge and induction stove, salt & pepper, ground coffee, tea and instant coffee bags, kettle….

We liked everything and would definitely recommend you stay there when visiting Lake Cerknica and its surroundings. We loved the breakfast.

The family running the farm was incredibly welcoming and hospitable, taking the time to show us around their beautiful farm. It was a unique and memorable experience, and I highly recommend this accommodation to anyone looking for a peaceful and charming holiday.

Newly and well equipped apartments in quiet place. Lovely and carefully owners.

The apartment is located below the farmhouse so it was nicely cool inside. Breakfast is served right outside the apartment door, so you can take whatever food you like and eat it inside your apartment. The apartment isn't very big, but the layout makes it spacious. Beds are fine. Very nice hosts. Location seems a bit remote, but stores and restaurants are not that far away.

The people welcomed us beautifully, they are truly generous :) They gave us all the information we needed about the nature in this area and they respect our privacy completely. I would highly recommend the stay, especially if you are visiting Krizna jama (Cross cave) or exploring Cerknica lake surrounding. The owners were very nice and helpful.
