The cottage looked even better than in the pictures. My family and I had a very comfortable stay. The place is very close to town and the 1820 Settlers' Monument. The place came equipped with amenities and extras to make our stay extra comfortable. The owner also made sure everything was set and ready before our arrival, and if we needed anything, she was just a call away. Overall, we had a lovely stay and will definitely book the property again should we travel to Makhanda

The quality of the furnishings and attention to detail in the cottage is outstanding! Love the little stoep! Safe parking. The location is great - close to Rhodes University, Amazwi South African Museum of Literature as well as Peppergrove Mall.
