Staff were very friendly and helpful. Spoke some English. Breakfasts were excellent as were the evening meals in the restaurant. Location delightful!

Great place to stay. The honesty box to purchase beverages and snacks was very good. Staff were friendly, and the chef in the kitchen cooks a great meal. Rooms were tidy and clean with good heating and comfortable beds. Would stay again.

“Perfect in every way.”
This was the highlight of our ten day trip around Germany. After lots of touristy walking around (apparently we did 18000 steps in one day😁😁😁) we found this little gem in the back of beyond and booked two basic double rooms with extra large double beds. Both rooms had a balcony so great if you're a smoker or vaper (like myself). The rooms were spotlessly clean, comfortable beds, and a stunning Forrest view from the balcony. The restaurant is closed on a Monday and Tuesday but lucky for us we stayed on a Thursday. For 55 euros myself and wifey had the best schnitzel we'd ever had with side salad, roasted potatoes, drinks and pudding. If you need to walk it off afterwards there's a lovely babbling river to walk along. In the corridor near to our room kettles were available to take into the room along with a well stocked mini bar and snacks to purchase at very reasonable prices. The staff were excellent throughout our stay and we are already planning to come back next year on the motorbike and make sure that this hotel is on our list of stops.

“We would stay again”
A lovely homely old-fashioned hotel in the beautiful Bavarian countryside. Big rooms, ours with a balcony, quiet, good value. Decent breakfast (for extra €9.50 each). Lovely, helpful staff. Isolated, but we like that. Gummy bears on the pillow a nice touch, and kettle in the room.

“Nice hotel.”
Nice location just by the river, perfect for exploring the neighborhood without the need to get into a car. The room was clean, the bed - comfortable. Breakfast was good and adequately priced.

Quiet hotel in rural setting. Comfortable, spacious room, friendly staff, very enjoyable dinner served on terrasse, excellent breakfast, many walking/cycling paths nearby.
