I booked this place because it was marked as being near Rila Monastery, but it turned out to be much farther than expected. However, everything was very clean and comfortable. The staff were kind and welcoming, the spa was excellent, and the mountain scenery—especially with the lingering snow—was absolutely satisfying.

Location: It’s very close to hiking trail leading to Maljovitsa and that’s why I booked it - great location! Spa: big choice of 4 saunas, 2 stem rooms, 2 jacuzzis with Mountain View - fantastic, spacious, really stylish

“A comfortable stay with the most spectacular views of Malyovitsa Peak”
The hotel had the most stunning views of the Malyovitsa Peak in the Rila Mountain. Our room was on the highest floor and was overlooking the peak, it was incredibly beautiful. The spa is lovely and very well equipped, again, views from the sauna are great. We did a long hike the next day and the staff was really helpful and prepared some breakfast for us to takeaway (we started early). The room was clean and the sofa bed was also very comfortable. The facilities for children were an ABSOLUTE hit with our family. We paid 35 levs and our boy had access to all sorts - trampoline, tubing, zip line, go ape, bouncy castle, etc. The staff there were very friendly as well.

“Wonderful base for hiking and relaxing and affordable in summer!”
We travelled in summer and it was incredibly cheap for the standard of accommodation. The location is perfect for hiking from. The breakfast is excellent with a wide range of good quality fresh food, from cereal to hot breakfast and also fresh fruit. There are so many types of sauna, steam rooms and other spa facilities including two spa pools, with slippers and lovely bath robes supplied and fresh towels for use in the spa facilities. I spent one day just relaxing while my partner did a hike. Everything was very well maintained. The staff speak some English, and are very helpful. We speak no Bulgarian so they already are a step above us!!! The staff were able to assist with some info on walks but I would advise finding your own info in advance. Bed was super comfortable, room and bathrooms are spacious, there is a kettle with range of tea bags and coffee supplied and a fridge. We found both very helpful! The views from the restaurant balcony are superb. If possible stay here and not the hotel next door.

The staff was very friendly and helpful, both front desk and restaurant. Perfect location for Malyovitsa Peak trek. The room was spacious and comfortable. At breakfast, there was decent variety.

The sauna and jacuzzi was amazing! They don't advertise the wellness centre as well as they should. There are 6+ saunas in this place! Breakfast was great too

Breakfast options were various, but the dinner didn't include that many options to choose from. Great location, very warm rooms, staff was friendly and welcoming, ski wardrobe
