“Great Place to stay in Corfu!”

We had an absolutely great time in Gouvia at Orpheus Hotel! This was our 3rd time in Corfu...The Hotel is a close drive from the airport, which was important for us as our flight was in the late evening. There are plenty of restaurants in the walking distance from Hotel, supermarkets and stores - everything is conveniently close. We have stayed in the top floor apartment which has a huge terrace overlooking the Govia Beach - absolutely stunning!. The place is spotless, with daily cleaning and towels get changed every other day! Christos is a perfect host and he gave us a great info on all the places we needed to see and great restaurants for dining!!! We will return to Hotel Orpheus for sure!!!

The room was really clean, and the housekeeping employee was very polite. The area was peaceful, with a few restaurants and grocery stores nearby. Getting to the city center was easy with bus number 7, the ride took around 25 minutes. Additionally, the air conditioning worked perfectly, which made the stay much more comfortable.

the hotel looks old from the outside, but inside there are excellent newly renovated rooms. I liked absolutely everything, the owner, the room, the cleanliness, the location. If we return to Corfu, we will return to this hotel

Very clean, close to bus station and close to the beach. They clean your room almost everyday and give you everything you need, also they have a fast wifi that helps a lot. The place is right in the middle so you can go north and south. And gouvia is chill a very cool place with bars and restaurants.

We had an excellent stay. The room was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable — perfect for relaxing. The property is easy to reach and in a great location, ideal for exploring many beautiful beaches in the area. There is a large, convenient parking area close to the sea. The owner was extremely kind and always available, giving us plenty of helpful tips to make the most of our stay. Highly recommended!

The staff were very nice, and gave a real human touch to our experience. In particular, Christos (receptionist and owner), despite a first rough impression, given mainly by his directness, was extremely nice and pleasant. We'll remember him with a big smile.

As three friends, we booked the Loft Apartment of Hotel Orpheus. The apartment was exactly as shown in the listing. The huge terrace was awesome. The location is good and it is easy to travel to different parts of the island from Gouvia. We spent a really good time. The cleaning and the facilities were excellent. The washing machine was a bonus. Christos, the owner, was a star in our opinion. He helped us with all our questions and provided valuable advice on what to do around the island, and we had a great time chatting with him. Thanks to Christos for being such a good company during our stay. :)

Christos Is a great host, who give lot of advice and suggestions about best beaches and restaurants. The Hotel Is very clean with large room and Gouvia Is perfect Village for visiting the Island from North to South.

I really enjoyed staying at this hotel. The room was clean and tidy, with a comfortable bed, a well-functioning air conditioner, and a shower with both hot and cold water. It was very quiet at night, with no noise at all. The location is excellent – the hotel is right in the center of Gouvia, on the main street of the town, and the bus stop is just a 3–4 minute walk away. There are not only cafés nearby but also a larger grocery store. For those planning to travel by public transport, this is a perfect base – it’s easy to get to Corfu Town as well as explore the entire island from here. Special thanks to the hotel owner, Christos. He is very welcoming, friendly, and genuinely cares about his guests. He immediately gave helpful tips and even called a taxi for me when I had a night flight. He will gladly assist you with anything you need or give advice about Corfu.
