Excellent apartment ....very clean and tidy with everything we could possibly want. One of the best self catering places we have ever stayed. Excellent location too. Host very helpful.

“Amazing place for a chillaxing weekend away”

Lovely home from home feeling. Clean and well equipped with everything you need. The decor the views from all windows are amazing especially the book corner (my favourite chair) open plan was good. The fire was a plus especially on the cold nights. Bedrooms were so clean and fresh great views also.

“Picture book harbour”

The view's of the harbour and the sea. It was very peaceful except for the seagulls. There was so much to see and experience in the surrounding villages and area.

Excellent location with fantastic views over the harbour, the property is furnished and equipped to a very high standard with everything you could want and more, situated in a very tranquil setting and the patio at the back is a little sun trap and very private

“A comfortable base for touring the area.”

We were self catering and the facilities were more than enough for our stay plus the flat is two minutes walk down to the restaurants and the chippie. There’s lots of everything you need and then some in the flat which is well furnished, has great views out over the sea with binoculars included, you can heat the place, if required, with central heating, a coal fire, or both. A seating area outside catches the sun all afternoon and into the evening. There are multiple tv options, dvd’s, books to read, games for the kids and even a box of goodies for them. Emma and Hamish live nearby and will respond to any requests you may have. A great area for touring and Gowan Bank is an ideal base.

Home from home it had everything we needed for a great mini break. The location was lovely with views out over the harbour and greats walks along the coast.

The whole accommodation was excellent and the views were fantastic. Handy to walk down to the pub and the fish restaurant instead of driving elsewhere to eat after a 6hour drive.

Superb self-catering apartment with views out over the North Sea in the charming fishing village of Gourdon. Excellent for walking or cycling on the coast. Friendly village with a pub, fishmonger/smokery and fish and chip restaurant. We hope to return there one day.

Good location in the village

We love the view from windows and comfortable beds 🛌. In there we have feeling that we are at home we have everything there to make dinner, go in shower. Emma and her busband are simply brilliant x
