The breakfast was amazing including home-made traditional breads, freshly squeezed orange juice, Moroccan mint tea as well as coffee, eggs and all sorts of local jams and honey. The welcome and hospitality was wonderful. Souad and her team were kindness itself. La Berberina is a jewel of a place with beautiful decor, spacious comfortable rooms and an amazing salt water swimming pool.

We were made to feel so welcome and at home. It was perfect from start to finish. Staff were friendly, helpful and attentive. Souad, the proprietor, is such a welcoming and interesting host. She has designed and created a beautiful auberge filled with amazing Amazigh (Berber) rugs and hangings all of which contribute to a relaxing and authentic ambience. The food is delicious - breakfasts included freshly squeezed orange juice, traditional breads of all types as well as cheese and local jams and honeys. The pool is wonderful! Large and pristinely new with comfortable lounge seats and garden nearby. The auberge is set in oasis fields but is also near shops and the main town Goulmima (all within walking distance). The birdsong was incredibly beautiful each morning. The hospitality and warmth was amazing. We absolutely all loved our stay.

Nice hotel with a nice morrocan atmosphere and a beautiful terrace at the back of the building. The room was spacious and clean and had a balcony with a view on the garden The proprietress cooke a morrocan dinner for us that was original and extremely well prepared.

The location was in the middle of a truly traditional Moroccan village, which added to the magic of this fabulous place. The hosts were absolutely first class, providing us with the tastiest and best presented food that I have had during my stay in Morocco Highly recommend on all counts 👍👍👍.

This was a wonderful little hotel surrounded by date palm groves and within a small, quiet village. The decor in the house was lovely with beautiful Berber rugs draped on the walls. The room was immaculately clean, spacious and light and had lovely views. The swimming pool was a bonus as was the excellent dinner. A stroll around the village and the palm groves was delightful, peaceful and well worth doing - villagers were friendly and very hospitable. Souad was very friendly, helpful and charming. Thankyou so much - we only wish we had stayed longer!

Very kind hosts that really care to make the experience amazing for us. The pool is great, and it’s a beautiful setting to eat outside. We also did a tour with local guide Omar that we can really recommend. It’s super authentic and not at all like touristic scams you experience in some other places.

The host is charming and engaging but unobtrusive, providing information and assistance as required. The optional dinner is excellent - fresh, balanced, great flavours - highly recommended. The rooms are large, clean and comfortable and well above the standard experienced elsewhere on our trip around Morocco.
