A charming hotel with tradition and a personal character. Situated in the historic center of the university town, this hotel has been owned by the family Netke for 4 generations. It is next to Goettingen's pedestrian zone, 2 minutes from the station in a quiet area.

Unfortunately, the elevator had a technical issue and since I have a severe lung condition, there was no way for me to get to the second floor. The lady at the desk kindly offered me a double room on the first floor without extra and even without me asking. That's service!

“A lovely non-corporate hotel usually completely booked.”
We felt looked after. The staff were friendly and welcoming. In particular Bahlen at reception. The housekeeping staff were very attentive to anything we might need in the room. We loved the room it had a bath which we appreciated.

“A good place to visit Wurzburg.”
Small room, but clean and comfortable. Absolutely the BEST shower ever, directly on the city wall and right opposite a wonderful vegan restaurant!

“Nice, comfortable stay at a great central location.”
Classic small hotell were they take their job seriously. Great service. We were happy to get two rooms close to each other with short notice. The hotel parking was safe and easily accessed for 8 euros. What struck me most was that even though it is an old buiding that probably hasn't been renovated recently - the rooms where superclean. I can be sensitive about that, but felt very comfortable here.

“Decent hotel next to the train station”
Good location near the train station. Clean and ample room, well decorated. It even had a sofa. Nice old building, with a lot of story behind. The personnel was super friendly.

“Personal City Hotel”
Nice old and personal hotel, central and still quiet. Breakfast was good and coffee free. Friendly staff spoke at least some English.
