A really nice, quirky place to stay with loads of lovely little details and interesting elements in and around the property. The instructions to get in were not only clear but also surprisingly fun! Nice breakfast provided. The location was great for exploring Gottingen.

“A great retreat in Gottingen.”
The appartment was very comfortabele, with great features like dimmers for the lights and light colors that could be changed. Very comfortable furniture. Lots of nice ornaments. A good working projector to watch our netflix serie. The bikes were parked safely in a groundfloor room. The car was parked nearby at a very reasonable price. Each room had charging cables for our tablet and phones. The kitchen/ dining room was lange and well equiped. The bathroom clean . The landlord was nice and very helpful. What we really liked was the location. In the old city with shops, bars, restaurants around the corner. All within 5 minutes walking. But still nice an quiet at night. We always book appartments on trips and this was one of the best ever. We stayed 5 days and enjoyed it.

Very quirky place with a unique flair. I liked the dining table that could be converted into a pool table, or even a pingpong table. The kitchen was fully functional, the treats were are really nice touch, and the space was clean. The host was very nice, and the check-in process easy and well explained. Great location, near the city centre.

Perfect room! The host was very nice, the heating and hot water were excellent, and the kitchen was fully equipped with free coffee provided. The room was spacious and beautifully decorated. Its location was ideal, within walking distance to both the train station and the city center. However, as an Asian guest, I do have one minor complaint: there were no slippers provided in the room (or maybe I didn’t find them?). Although the room had carpet flooring, the bathroom floor was bare, making it a chilly shock to step in barefoot after showering during winter. Overall, I would definitely stay here again on my next visit to Göttingen! A truly perfect trip!

“Disappointing and ridiculously overpriced.”
The location was the best part. Very close to the train station. It was nice to have some basics for breakfast like milk in the fridge, a selection of cereals and coffee. The host communicated quickly and well, which we very much appreciated.

I was in Göttingen for two days for work. The apartment where I stayed was very comfortable and stylish, with a well-equipped kitchen. I can certainly recommend this place.

The stay at Goethes Haus was really pleasant :) Check-In was easy thanks to the detailed instructions sent by the host. Host was responsive and the room was as described. Very clean, cosy and nice with all needed in the little kitchen and bathroom. Nice surprises also like extra plugs/cables to charge your devices, milk, coffee/the and sweets available! I would book this place again !

A fun and surprising apartment in steampunk style! Large room, excellent facilities and located very close to the station in a nice (albeit somewhat noisy) street with several good bars and restaurants. The possibility to hire a bike makes for great flexibility. I enjoyed my stay!
