“Superb modern accommodation nestling in fairytale medieval Harz mountain town.”

A real gem. Bearing in mind the very central location and the narrow medieval streets we thought it was going to be a challenge to find and get parked, but it was a breeze. Allocated car park slot was about 3 metres from front door. Kitchen was fully equipped, save for a freezer; but the owner (who was delightful) went out and bought a small chest freezer and delivered it the next day - that really is going the extra mile. Lounge area was very comfortable (with huge flat screen TV) leading onto a surprisingly generous patio area, which, while overlooked from a distance was very peaceful, interrupted only by the musical chimes in the town square at 9am, midday and 3pm. Had snow the first week but the heating was superb and the rocketing temperatures during the second week did not trouble the castle-thick walls of the house! Despite the peacefulness, we were only a couple of minutes walk from the town square, museums, shops etc. We'll definitely go again.

“Big comfortable place will all things (home away from home)”

We were greeted with hosts and a carpark right in front of the property. But we were amazed by the size of the property. It felt like we had a whole apartment complex to ourselves. This place could easily be a family home for a large family. It even has a sauna on the lowest floor. The place was absolutely clean and very comfortable. It even had an outdoor courtyard (you could play backyard cricket or host a 30-person party!) The property is around 50 m from the main square and too close to all tourist attractions as well. It had a full kitchen, a few bathrooms, a few rooms and all extra things like blankets etc. Can't fault this place, rather for our whole trip (over 10 properties) this was the best and most memorable. I actually remember Goslar for this property.

Brilliant location. Parking right outside. Terrace to enjoy to yourselves. Great quality beds and linen. Plenty of hot water in the shower. Smart TV. Very accommodating owner.
