Overview
This guest house on the River Neiße offers spacious rooms with refrigerator and free private parking. It stands in the centre of Görlitz, a 5-minute walk from the Schlesisches Museum. The rooms of the Pension Picobello also include work desks, private bathrooms or shared bathrooms, and TVs with satellite channels. Wi-Fi internet access is available. Guests have free use of the Picobello’s sauna during their stay, or can relax on the summer terrace with beer garden. A barbecue area is available. Guests can also rent bikes for a fee on-site. The sights of Görlitz’s old town can be explored on foot from the Pension Picobello. The guest house also offers rental bicycles.

“Friendly front desk; area was clean & very quiet;”
Breskfast was excellent--mainly cold cuts but also had hot scrambled eggs, assortment of beverages & a very peaceful atmosphere.

“The best of both worlds!”
Large apartment-style twin room with kitchen/dining area separate from the bedroom. Basic fittings but very clean. Included a fridge, kettle and quiet hairdryer. Short and pleasant walk through the Alt-Stadt (old town) from the railway station. As the pension is on the river bank (Ufer) and very close to a bridge, it was easy to walk back and forth to Poland to get the best of both worlds!

“Utilitarian”
Located in the center. Free parking spaces are available. Administrators are responsive. This place is meant for transit unfussy guests.

Friendly and helpful host. He did offer us a groundfloor room so we didn't have to carry our luggage upstairs. The pension is very close to the waterfront and footbridge to Poland.

“All in all, it’s not the worst place I’ve stayed, but it’s certainly not one I would recommend...”
The room was clean. It was in a nice location too. I suppose it was the best price in town too & we went on to find out why..

The room itself is clean and comfortable, and I was well aware that the facilities were shared. The location is right near the bridge to the Polish border and near the old town, and the host was friendly and helpful when needed.

Best possible location with a view to the river, next to the walking area. Very silent as at some distance from the street which is a one way and 30 km/ only. We could sleep with windows open. Free parking was available in the street. Staff explained the self check-in system very patiently and it was easy. The room was simple and clean. Great views, but there is no elevator to reach the upper floors.

The location is great - minutes from the center of Town, and right next to the bridge crossing into Poland.

The cheapest alternative for this fabulous city! Quiet and peaceful. Not so warm, but a good place to stay for the night. Great guy the receptionist!
