Big and confortable Apartment

Fantastic location 3 mins away from the historic center. The room was more than sufficient and I liked the view into the garden. The price was more than fair.

Apartment was just the right size, it was in good condition and clean. Quiet location with easy reach to the Christmas market, our main goal. Evenings in Christmas Gorlitz were lovely.

Lovely place to stay in Gorlitz! Very clean, warm and comfortable. The communal kitchen had everything we needed. Very large rooms and in walking distance to the xmas market and all the other sights. Very nice man who runs the place as well :)

Has all the basics you’d need, great hot showers and large rooms.

“Freezing cold water and no heating at night”

We had a problem with heating and freezing cold water at night and nobody helped us. We were unable to have a shower when we came back to our room late at night. We contacted Booking.com as well as the owner. After multiple messages on the next days the owner kept denying that there was a problem at all and claimed that everything was fine as we had a chance to have a warm shower in the morning, which we did. If you want to stay in this place, make sure before the arrival that the boiler and the heating system work at night if you want to avoid any problems. It is extremely uncomfortable to get to the hotel after a long day at work, go for a walk, come back to the room and be unable to get warm or have a shower and be forced to wait until the morning for a solution, if any is provided. The room was basic but clean, however, the bedding wasn't warm enough to keep us warm in winter with no night heating. We understand that there might be various problems happening and sometimes the owners are unable to react to them instantly but denying the problems and not even apologizing for anything is the worst and the most frustrating thing that might happen when you're on holidays and you pay for your accomodation. The overall rating could have been better as the place was clean in general and in a good location. However, the owner left me no other choice than lowering it due to the reasons I descibed above.

Very clean, comfortable for an overnight stay. The host was very helpful offering a space for parking (for extra charge).
