“A nice relaxing location with balcony and garden. But maybe better for guests with a car.”
This is a new venture for a very friendly Greek family, it’s only been theirs for 3 months. A wise decision as Gorizia (It) and cheek-by-jowl Nova Gorica (Slo) are to be joint European City of Culture. It’s a very good quality internal environment and at a quiet edge of town. In Italy - just - and the Slovene railway station is easy walking distance, but it’s a bus to get to the Italian station 2.6 miles away. But if you have time to spare and are happy to walk, all the way from the market square to Gorizia Centrale is a straight tree-lined boulevard with bars and restaurants.

Very well welcomed by Roberta, who came to check us in as soon as we messaged her. She offered us a ride to the city center. Very clean and spacious. Only a 15-20 min walk to the center.
