Welcomed with a warm smile and even some freshly baked Oliebollen for New Years. It was a great location and very beautiful location. The room was spacious and very well thought out layout. We really enjoyed our stay even if it was only for one night. It really felt luxurious.

Great location by the river and close to town centre. Room fit out excellent. Only desk chair a bit low.

Perfect location to explore Gorinchem, and a very comfortable room with a deck which caught the afternoon sun. Loved having the ducks outside our windows, and the church bells in the near distance. Also a lovely setting by the waterfront park, and a convenient public car park just a two minute walk away.

Location is amazing. Views across the park to the water side was lovely. The frog chorus from the ‘moat’ was great.

All the staff at the property were so friendly especially the lady with the blonde hair who checked me in … she was wonderful!!

The location is superb- close to the water and greenspaces plus the lovely shops and cafes of historic Goringchem. There is bike storage immediately outside the hotel. The room was stylish and comfortable and even had a veranda with chairs looking onto a moat. We sat there with our lovely coffees from the coffee machine in our room. Staff were friendly and helpful. Goringchem is beautiful- it was our second visit to this hotel as part of cycle tours

Superb contemporary accommodation. Great views from the room and great food. Very helpful and pleasant staff. On edge of town.

Loved the location and the atmosphere. The restaurant is wonderful and I ate far too much. The staff was very helpful and friendly.

Absolutely beautiful room with a view of the water and dyke in Gorinchem. Tea and Coffee facilities in the room. The shower room was wel designed - separate wc and shower. A novelty was a perspex inzet om the floor to shower the old foundation Stones.

Food was excellent and our stay was comfortable. However on the last day of checking out on a Sunday we arrived for breakfast at 09h57 and was rudely informed that we had missed breakfast and that breakfast wouldn’t be served. Despite paying the day before for breakfast and breakfast being available in the restaurant. We were extremely disappointed in the poor service and rudeness and lack of customer service. Our overall stay was good but denying us breakfast for which we had paid left a bitter taste in our mouth. We will not be back

“Comfortable.”

Good location close to the city. Quiet. Good breakfast. Very nice staff. Possibilty to make coffea and tea in the room. Surprisingly the room had also a microwave, but no fridge though.

“Pleasant”

Terry towelling bottom sheet on the bed and no black out curtains. Kept awake by the “other worldly” sounds from the river. Stayed in a different room a few days later with blackout curtains on a different floor and wasn’t disturbed at all 🤔

Location did make it a little difficult to find due to the one way streets but ideal for exploring the town on foot. I was allowed to park the motorbike near to the accommodation than way off in the public parking area. No one was at the accommodation to provide the key to the room, the restaurant was the point of contact and top mark for his assistance and hospitality.
