Where do we start! From initial enquiry before travelling to our departure at the end of our stay, the communication, service and assistance was excellent. As a boutique hotel with only 6 rooms, we felt privileged to experience the intimate atmosphere of Sora Cave Hotel. Seher is an exceptional host who went above and beyond to look after us, making our stay truly memorable. Our initial response of “WOW” when shown our cave room and the fantastic traditional breakfasts cement Goreme and Sora Cave as a firm favourite of all our travels. Highly recommend.

The rooms are gorgeous!!!! Seher is the best host we’ve had throughout our Turkey Holidays. Really feels like a boutique hotel we were mostly on our own. Such a relaxed place.

What makes a hotel great is its staff. I would like to thank Seher for making our stay wonderful. From the day I booked, she helped me a lot in planning our 3 days in Cappadocia. She took care of everything, including our room, food, tours, and especially the balloon flights, which she arranged for us at the last minute. Sora Cave Hotel was perfect. The hotel manager, Seher was amazing. Seher made sure that everything was taken care of, and we were so grateful for guidance, hotel transfer booking support, day tour support, and local food and activity recommendations. I would highly highly recommend to all. The hotel was clean, breakfast was amazing, and the views from the breakfast terrace are incredible.

The location was great, and our cave room was comfortable and well appointed. The breakfasts with local foods were also fantastic. The real highlight of our stay though was the owner, Seher. She was so friendly and helpful, going well out of her way to help book and arrange things for us, like tours, activities and taxis. Couldn't ask for anything more!

We loved everything about our stay, the wonderful host (I forget her name but she was so lovely), the breakfast was amazing and changed everyday and the rooms were very comfortable and immaculately clean.

First of all, I would like to express my sincere thanks to "Seher" for her exceptional hospitality. The hotel is beautifully designed, and the Turkish breakfast was delightful. I stayed in an authentic cave room — a truly unique experience that feels like stepping back in time.

Seher was an amazing host and had great recommendations for sightseeing, food, and went above and beyond in helping me make the most of my time in Goreme. Location is perfect, away from the noise and busyness of the main road but conveniently walkable everywhere. Room is nice, clean, and has everything you would want; the bed is comfortable and large. Breakfast was great and had a good selection of mezze, proteins, fruit, veg, and beverages and changed day to day in selection. I couldnt be happier with my stay. Also very cute cats everywhere :)

“A peace nest”

I arrived at Göreme in August 2025 in the evening, and it was so crowded that I almost left on the spot. The non-stop passing by excursions vehicles in the inclined street that you go through to climb your way to the cave hotels was overwhelming during the balloon festival. When I finally got to the hotel, I was happy to find it in a quiet spot with an amazing view. This hotel was the reason I didn't leave the first night. Only a few rooms available in there, Seher, the technical staff and the gentle chef 👩‍🍳 were amazing! The festival was canceled because of weather conditions, so the town was calm after that. Seher, the manager, took time to chat with me, to answer my question, and to tell me about her life in Turkey. She really made me feel at home. The breakfast on the terrace was outstanding, fresh, traditional, and varied. You can feel that the hotel is made to make you feel comfortable. Awesome place. PS: Not relayed to the hotel, but dont hesitate to enjoy the craft ateliers (perfume, mosaic lamp. Turkish coffee) in the city. It's 10min by feet from the hotel and 2hours long each.

Sora cave hotel is very cozy, feels private, and gives a sense of exclusivity as it only has few but SUPERB and very comfortable rooms. The rustic design and feel of the room is very appealing, it definitely looka better in person than the one posted here on the site. Hotel is clean, has a nice rooftop with huts and dining/breakfast nook as well. You can definitely relax after a long tiring day from activities as the place is really quiet. Breakfast is incomparable, they have a nice spread of food every morning and eggs and coffee will be made according to the preference of the guest. Last but definitely not the least, is Seher's impeccable hospitality to her guest! She is very hands on and will take care of you during your stay. I will definitely recommend this hotel to my friends and colleagues and to those who will read the reviews. Also, I lost my mobile phone at the airport and Seher helped to contact the lost nd found dept of Istanbul airport. Given that I cannot comminicate on Turkish, she helped a lot to resolve the matter as not having a phone is difficult for foreign nationals like me. So to those who is looking for a great place to stay and top notch service. SORA CAVE HOTEL is the place that you are looking for. All of my friends who stayed with me alslo loved our stay here. It has exceeded my expectations and will definitely comeback!
