“Amazing stay in Cappadocia!”
This place was the perfect base when staying in Cappadocia! The hotel is located just up the road from Goreme down town and you can easily walk into town in 10 minutes or so. It is also only a 4 minute walk from popular restaurant Seten. We were very comfortable in our room and especially appreciated the underfloor heating when days were colder/ wetter. The rooms were cleaned and tidied daily and toiletries and water were also replaced where used. The breakfast has a nice variety and bread was always fresh. The staff are so kind and attentive and truly go above and beyond. I’d like to say a special thank you to Ahmet, who kindly drove me to town at the last minute, and the entire reception team, who went above and beyond to help us secure a balloon ride after days of cancellations due to poor weather. This was a special birthday trip for both me and my mum and the staff at Lunar Cappadocia Hotel helped us to make it as memorable as possible. I would highly recommend staying here when visiting the area!

“Fabulous cave hotel in peaceful location”
A fabulous cave hotel a short walking distance to restaurants, the town and hikes. Friendly, helpful staff who assisted us with tour bookings and recommendations pre the trip and whilst we were there. We enjoyed the huge breakfast buffet with eggs to order and wine is available on request if you fancy a drink before dinner if the bar is shut off season. We stayed in the Queen suite which was spectacular. Very clean. On our day of departure we woke up early and the balloons were overhead. The hotel organised private transfers with their driver Ahmet and we also used Ahmet for a green tour and red tour. So lovely to be driven around the sites without being rushed and also to be able to adapt the itinerary. For instance on our red tour day it rained in the afternoon so he made sure we did some inside things like a pottery workshop and also took us to a wine shop that has tastings after learning we like wine. Both days he took us to restaurants that he though we’d like for a light lunch which were amazing. We had an amazing time in Cappadocia and will definitely return. Don’t miss the hikes through Pigeon Valley and the Red and Rose Valleys.

“A magical place where history comes alive”
The little location is wonderful. It's on top of a hill, surrounded by other hotels, yet private and quiet. My room was spacious and tasteful. It felt like being in a castle.

“Exceptional from start to finish”
This hotel is a must! Perfect location, beautifully decorated and a gorgeous terrace to watch the balloons. The staff went above and beyond to help with any planning we required and even treated us to a birthday cake to celebrate our birthday. Very kind and warm people. Couldn’t recommend more!

“Best Hotel in Cappadocia”
In my humble opinion this is one of the best hotels in Cappadocia. It's breathtakingly beautiful. It has a lovely green garden and several amazing spots to take those Instagram worthy shots of the balloons. The rooms are lovely and the amenities are amazing. My bed was soo cosy that I slept well every night. All the staff are awesome, and the hotel owner is a lovely, humble, kind soul. Special thanks to Ensar who was most helpful and went above and beyond. I miss this hotel already. 🥹 I will definitely stay here again.

We had the most incredible stay at lunar hotel! Couldn’t fault a thing, the staff were so helpful and accomodating, and the location was 10/10! Watching the balloons from the balcony was just as good as being in the balloons! ☺️

“A lovely hotel that I would truly recommend to anyone coming to the area.”
The location was amazing. It was a 7 minute walk to the village of Goreme. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The property was clean and modern. The feel of the hotel was luxury but in keeping with the authentic setting. It was one of the only Cave Hotels that had a large garden. The views were spectacular, whether it was the evening looking out over the valley seeing the beautiful lights or the early morning watching the balloons pass by. The breakfast was excellent, good quality authentic healthy Turkish food.

“Wonderful views and rooms, recommended”
I stayed here with my friends recently. It has great views and the rooms are well maintained. The location is good, just 10 min walk from the town centre though coming back up may be challenging for a few people. My friend's son wasn't well and the staff offered them a slightly late checkout which was very kind of them. We had a wonderful stay!

The stay was amazing! Views from the accommodation, baloons that fly in the morning was an amazing experience. Breakfast was a good spread. We absolutely enjoyed the tranquility and spectacular views.
