Overview
Villa Triglav on Pokljuka is located in the heart of the Triglav National Park and the Julian Alps. The main building, in which apartments and rooms are located, was built back in 1939 in the famous style of architect Plečnik. Most of the details have been preserved and are still visible in the exterior of the villa, as well as in the renovated apartments / rooms. In addition to the main building inside the lush forest, Vila Triglav includes two independent wooden log cabins (glamping chalets), with their private hot tub and summer kitchen. During the summer season, guests have free access to the summer terrace with a hot tub, a picnic area with a barbecue and an outdoor playground. All apartments and glamping units are equipped with a kitchen / summer kitchen, as the two rooms have the possibility of using a kitchenette (shared kitchenette). Guests can also take a local breakfast in nearby restaurant.

The location is remote and quiet in a lovely area. There’s lots of characterful sights to see nearby. Contains a small kitchen and fridge which is helpful. Somewhat basic with limited frills: good for people who want a bit more comfort than camping but aren’t looking for luxury. We stayed in one of the apartments. The hosts communicated by message which was relatively easy and convenient. Easy parking available.

Our main apartment is located on the first floor and includes a balcony with a views on a pristine forest with the Julian Alps in the background. A former president Tito's apartment is equipped with professional kitchen, wine cooler and fireplace. Sleeping area includes double bed and bunk bed, while in the dinning area you can find a sofa bed as adittional place to sleep for two people. Bathroom includes a comfort shower. Perfect apartment for families who want to spend a longer period in the heart of Triglav national park.

This family apartment with wooden beams dating back to the 1939, is situated in attic and features a French balcony with a view on the forest with the Julian Alps in the background. Kitchen is well equipped and comfort. In the dinning area you can find two separeted beds, while the bedroom is equipped with double bed. In the bathroom you can find a bath and in the hallway two pull-out beds for children.
