Overview
Situated on 2 acres of indigenous gardens at the foot of the Hottentots Holland Mountain range, Wind-Rose Guest House offers luxury accommodation in a natural sanctuary. It features an outdoor pool and free WiFi. All guest rooms feature king-size beds, air conditioning and hot drink facilities. The rooms also all have a seating area with sofa bed, and a balcony or patio offering views of False Bay with Table Mountain in the background. Breakfast is served each morning either in the dining room, on the veranda, or on the terrace. The guest house further offers a fully equipped gym where guests can exercise. You can also choose from a variety of activities, including hiking, horse riding, golfing, fishing, or deep sea diving. A shuttle service is available upon request.

“Hidden Gem to simply relax and recharge.”
The property was away from the hustle and bustle of town but accessible to all areas close by. A fantastic place to relax and recharge. The unit was fully equipped and our hosts were great and gave us a full tour on arrival and explained everything. Breakfast was excellent a full choice of juice, cereal, yogurt, fresh fruit, toast & preserves and cooked selections.

Harry and his wife run and own the property and they are great. They came out to great us immediately upon arrival in the parking lot, to shake our hands, help us with the bags and show us to our room. They already knew my name. No other bnb or hotel has done this on our entire 2 weeks in South Africa. Harry was very helpful showing us all around the property and answering any questions we had. The building is beautiful with spacious rooms, a beautiful outdoor space and stunning mountain views. There is also a nice sunny pool area with a lovely seating area around it and a spot where you can grill. Our room was very big, with a nice bed, its own sofa, a large bathroom, shower and bath, ample windows and lighting, high ceilings, and its own balcony. If you want to stay in this area I would recommend this lodge. Although we had to cut our stay short, Harry was very understanding and kind to us, we felt very valued as guests on a personal level and he couldn’t have done more for us. Thank you Harry!!

“A secure hidden gem in a quieter part of the Western Cape.”
We liked that the rooms were so spacious and that the property was private and secure with well maintained gardens, pool area and facilities. We also enjoyed the hosts and staff who were helpful when requested to assist. The scenic mountain views that can be enjoyed from the property offered a welcome backdrop to our summer vacation.

The gardens were nice, parking was good, water pressure was good when the borehole pump worked. The owner made a plan to get a Inverter for my medical equipment while the solar system was being installed. Much appreciated.
