Overview
Situated 20 metres from the white beaches of peaceful Gordon's Bay, this historical guest house features air-conditioned rooms in a natural setting. There is an outdoor pool and a dining room with fireplace. Views of False Bay and Cape Town are available from the property. Manor on the Bay offers solar energy, ensuring no more loadshedding, and an uninterrupted power supply for guests. Manor on the Bay is fully operational during loadshedding. Delicious full breakfast is served in the historical dining room of the Manor, from 8:00 to 10:00 every day. A satellite TV and work desk are available in all the elegant rooms at Manor on the Bay. Each has views of the garden or Atlantic ocean, and a modern bathroom stocked with a bathrobe. Guest can book offsite massages or enjoy scuba-diving trips. Between the months of August and November, whale watching is possible from Manor on the Bay's patio. Hiking trails, shopping malls and golf courses are only a 10-minute walk away. A shuttle service is available to Cape Town International Airport, by prior arrangement. Gordon‘s Bay and Manor on the Bay link conveniently and multi-directionally to Cape Town and the Cape peninsula, to the spectacular Route 44 penguin & whale loop via Stony Point to Hermanus, and the scenic orchard & vinyard loop via the Elgin Valley to Franschhoek and Stellenbosch. Varied nearby dining options ensure a relaxing sunset and end to days of Cape region exploration.

“An absolutely wonderful stay!”
We had a truly wonderful and unforgettable stay at Manor on the Bay. From the very first moment, we felt incredibly welcome and well taken care of by Jenny and Sebastian – two warm, attentive and genuinely caring hosts who run their guesthouse with so much love. The house itself is beautiful, clean, very well maintained and tastefully decorated, with a relaxing atmosphere that makes you feel at home right away. The location right on Gordons Bay, perfect starting point to Clearance Drive and lots of other locations, the delicious breakfast and all the thoughtful little details in the service made our stay really special – we honestly wished we could have stayed longer. We will definitely be back and can highly recommend Manor on the Bay to anyone visiting the area! Million Thanks to Jenny and Sebastian for making this such a beautiful stay for us...

Location was perfect, just opposite the beach, accommodation was complete luxury, Rooms were spotless, beds were extremely comfortable, staff were very friendly. Hosts, Jenny and Sebastian were so amazing, welcoming, helpful, etc and the breakfast (and coffee) was 10/10

“A fantastic hotel in a great location run by a family team who operate to the highest levels of customer service.”
This privately run guest house / hotel is in a great location in Gordon’s bay. The owners were really welcoming and did every thing to make sure our stay was as comfortable as possible. Great views from the property across False Bay and if you have an opportunity, try to choose Room No 1. Breakfast was exceptional and I cannot recommend it highly enough. We will definitely be rebooking on our next visit to the area.

“Excellent guest house right next to the beach in Gordon's Bay.”
We only stayed one night, but our rooms were great and breakfast was good. The owners were very helpful allowing us to stay on half an hour beyond normal check out time to allow us to collect our son from the airport. And they gave him a free breakfast too!
