Ideally situated for trips or walks on the beach, this Lodge is conveniently located 100 metres from a beach and a short walk from the well-known Bikini Beach. The Lodge contains a range of harmoniously decorated, comfortable and homely rooms, all of which include an en suite, free wireless internet access and Showmax. The upper levels feature stunning views of the landscape, sea and mountains with access to the all-encompassing balcony. Breakfast is available with prior arrangement at a surcharge.

We were greeted with a warm welcome and powerades on arrival because my husband and son registered for the False Bay 50km and 10km race. We got to our rooms it was neat and clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious both days and we were served koeksisters the Sunday morning a lovely gesture. We had an awesome stay and would definitely go back.

“Just what we needed”
We had such a lovely stay at the lodge. The room was comfortable my family slept well. It was a wonderful surprise to find that breakfast was included, and it was absolutely delicious. The Sunday morning traditional koesister was a real highlight – such a special and classic touch that made us smile. The staff were the friendliest we have ever experienced, always warm, helpful and welcoming. The location was perfect, with everything within walking distance, which made our stay even more convenient. It was truly a memorable experience, and we would happily stay there again.

“Perfect accommodation”
Very friendly staff and accommodating to specific needs. The location is perfect, serine area and walking distance from the beach. Room was clean and spacious allowing for smoking on the balcony with a view!

“Wind from the door is the problem.”
Accommodation was fine, but the wind from the door panel was extremely beyoung because my fiance got flue due to the wind coming from The door. And the wind allowedue to the level of not understing how is that possible. But the condition did nont allow us to say anything .. the room for Improvement is there.

Le Bay Lodge is centrally located in Gordon's Bay, with easy access to the scenic Clarence Drive Mountain Pass in the East, and Strand and Somerset West in the West. The lodge is very quiet, during the day and night. The rooms and baths are older, but make up for it with great mattresses and excellent showers. The premises have a restaurant and bar. There are braai (bbq) faciliites for guests to use as well. The staff are lovely and friendly, and very caring. We only stayed one night but would be happy to visit there again.
