Overview
Located in a unique and peaceful setting, the bioclimatic housing Cuevas el Torriblanco features air-conditioned caves with terrace. They offer an impressive view of the surrounding mountains. Fed by solar-wind energy, each cave includes original paving, curved vaulted ceilings and rustic furniture. Each property features a living room with fireplaces, sofa and a flat-screen TV. It also has a terrace and a kitchenette with barbecue facilities, oven and coffee machine. You can find good hiking and cycling roads in the nearby countryside. You will also have an easy access to the Natural Park of Sierra Nevada as well as to the Megalithic Park in Gorafe. Cuevas el Torriblanco is 11 minutes' drive from Gorafe. Balneario de Alicun de las Torres thermal baths is located 10 km away. Free public parking is available on site.

“An amazing oasis in the beautiful desert!”
Jose was so forthcoming and friendly! Gave me so many too tips and was genuinely interested in my trip and how he could make my stay the best possible. The cave house is great, has great gas heater to keep warm also in cold nights. The surrounding landscape is breathtaking, I only had two days but you would need weeks to explore all the magic around this place!

It is a wonderful place, but you probably need a car to get there and travel around. The cave apartment is beautifully decorated. It's boutique style. This opinion concerns details such as lamps, towels, decorations, cosmetics... The apartment is very comfortable, has a large, practical kitchen... And the views are wonderful. The owner of this cave is very friendly and helpful. You can order cool, interesting 4xD trips from him. This is a good, interesting offer. Trekking is also possible. You have several marked trekking routes near the cave. The place requires a little more difficult access, but it's great... There is private parking.

“The highlight of our trip.”
The location was idyllic. We could not have expected a better stay. Truly, the pictures don't do it justice, it's really a dream-like location. The sunset and the sunrise on the desert and the mountains is straight out of a movie. Peacefull location for anyone looking for a true breather. José was the best host possible and we strongly recommend booking a private visit of the desert with him and Loulou <3

“The perfect stay amongst the desert mountains.”
The location of this incredible and unique accommodation is truly breathtaking. I was prepared to be disappointed as from the photos it looks amazing. But really in reality it is even better. The peace is unrivalled. Jose was the perfect host - going out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed and more. We absolutely loved this stay and will be going back. The gravel cycling in this area (Badlands) is truly insane.
