We had to stop for one night in Golubac on our way home and we chose Vila Peristeron due to it being outside the city limits but still close enough. It's right next to the Danube so the views are amazing. The host was very helpful and even offered to take us on a boat tour for a small fee. Unfortunately, we were there during the weekend and didn't have enough time to take the tour or visit the nearby castle, which is gorgeous. All in all, this was exactly as described and we were really happy with the place.

Really cozy little house and our room had a great view, we could see the Danube and the mountains from our window. The host was really nice and friendly. We took a boat tour with him to see the Golubac fortress, which we recommend. There is a great restaurant in town, overlooking the Danube.

“A very nice weekend”
We stayed 2 days in Golubac, at Vila Peristeron. Everything was fine, the owner is very nice, with a lot of knowledge about the area (organize boat trip). The accommodation is situated between Golubac and fortress Golubac. The entire area is very beautiful, you can visit the fortress, the Lepenski Vir arheologic sit and go on mountains trips for amazing view. We recomand to going in this beautiful area and to stay at Vila Peristeron.

Nice and clean room with parking space outside - that's all good however houst exceptional, helpful and friendly person - he was waiting for us till 0100 am as we had some problem on the border also he is organizing boat trips around the lake wich was relaxing, informative with a few stories about the area. Highly recommend Vila Peristeron to stay and Gulbac it's self as it's offering a lot to see.
