Set on a private part of Nicuesa Beach, Playa Nicuesa Rainforest Lodge has a tropical setting in the Golfo Dulce region. It offers rooms with balconies and rainforest views, as well as a range of outdoor activities. This eco-friendly resort features accommodation set in attractive wooden cabins. All rooms have a seating area and a private entrance. Guests can enjoy a range of South American cuisine in the Playa Nicuesa’s restaurant. There is also a bar and lounge area with hammocks. The Rainforest Lodge organises activities including yoga classes, kayaking and snorkelling. The surrounding rainforest is ideal for hiking and horse riding. The Lodge has a peaceful, picturesque location and is accessible by boat only.

Our room was at the edge of the jungle, the atmosphere and experience of staying here was very special. We loved it! Yoga with David on the yoga deck by the sea was absolutely wonderful!

Intimate, all the staff so friendly and knowledgeable. They can’t do enough for you. Felt like an adventure when coming to the lodge as you can’t see it until very close. Food amazing and great choices. They answered questions before arriving very promptly. Can’t recommend this place enough, a little slice of paradise

It's been 3 weeks and we're still dreaming of @nicuesalodge our final stop in Costa Rica 🇨🇷 This place was so magical. From the moment we arrived (by boat) to this protected paradise we were welcomed by name and were in awe. 🌴 The staff, (all 25 to 20 guests!) get to know everyone and from our favourite server and cocktail maker, Kimberley to the tour guides, and maintenance were so friendly. That's the tico way 🙂 ❤️ The lodge itself is IN the raiforest, which seas and national park are protected. We even went to the Golfo Dulce to see wild dolphins, one of the worlds 4 tropical fjords! 🐬 We left with smiles and full hearts, and it really felt like an honour to be part of this special place. Thank you, you define Pura Vida 🌿

“Once in a life time location and experience, but not somewhere we'd visit again.”
We visited Nicuesa because of its location, the opportunity to see wildlife and the commitment to sustainability. It delivered in all of these areas: we will never forget the boat ride to the hotel (it felt like being the first people to discover a new country) and the relaxation we felt from being so isolated and immersed in nature. The food exceeded our expectations and we were very well looked after by the kitchen staff. The guide who took us on a hike was very knowledgeable and friendly. It's nice that you can take paddle boards and kayaks out for free. The beach is raw nature but incredible. We watched sunrise and sunset every day during out stay, and couldn't believe how magical it was. Room cleaning was great. The yoga instructor and masseuse was lovely - really friendly, knowledgeable and personable.
