Golferenzo is an absolute gem. The hospitality was flawless, kind, and attentive. The breakfast basket in the morning rich and delicious. The Borgo is also filled with very well cared for cats... which for us for a wonderful plus. We're looking forward to coming back soon!

“Comfortable place to stay in beautiful surroundings”

Very comfortable 1 bedroom house in what in a small row of older properties in a village setting. It was well equipped, felt very relaxed and the breakfast delivered each day was good. The pool was nearby and offered great views across the countryside. The spa had a good range of facilities and it's nice that some access was included in the rate with no pressure to buy more services. The litte shop offers a range of what seem home cooked food to heat in the house microwave - a very convenient touch. It felt a friendly comfortable and friendly place for us to start our holiday.

“An amazing hidden gem in the middle of the Italian countryside”

My husband and I stayed at Borgo Dei Gatti with lots of our family and friends for the duration of our wedding, which was nearby. From when we booked the accommodation last year, to arriving and all the way to checking out, we all had a magnificent time. Paola the manager was so incredibly helpful and amazing and made sure that we had the best time and that our guests were looked after during one of the most important times in our life. Everyone had a great time all together, the breakfast each morning is lovely, the pool is stunning and the 2 restaurants have great food and lovely service. The spa is also very relaxing which was much needed during the busy wedding times. Thank you so much to Paola and her amazing team for looking after us so well. They truly went above and beyond for us.

Borgo dei Gatti is a slice of heaven tucked away in the hills — we couldn't have asked for a better stay. The location is simply breathtaking — perched on a hillside with panoramic views that look like something out of a dream. The hosts are absolutely wonderful — warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Ciao, Paola! Thank you for your kindness and care throughout our stay. And don’t even get me started on the breakfasts! Every morning, a charming wicker basket appeared at our door filled with local delights: fresh croissants, fruit, yogurt, and rich Italian coffee. Such a thoughtful and cozy start to the day. The rooms were spotless, beautifully designed, and full of rustic charm — think wood-beamed ceilings, soft linens, and all the little details that make a place feel special. The entire property is tranquil, well-maintained, and radiates character. If you're looking for a peaceful, romantic, and authentic escape in the Italian countryside, this is the place. I left completely recharged and already dreaming of coming back.

“Magical place-must visit”

This place is magical. So much amazing details at the same time you have everything you need for a perfect stay. Located in village in the country with picturesque scenes there and on the way there. Convenient parking. All apartaments are located on different sports but 1 min away from each other. Breakfast is served in the room-all homemade style with amazing taste. In the room there is kitchen with cooking accessories, coffee machine. Restaurant in the village is 100 out of 10 :) the feeling is like being your grandma guest. Worth every minute spent here. Breakfast, location, hospitality, all excellent! I am from the area but decided to stay in the "hotel" with my friends for a spa weekend! It's a great escape with spa, hotel, and restaurant all within walking distance. Away from the hustle & bustle of city life.

“A truly Northern-Italian rural holiday set in the most beautiful landscape with friendly people.”

Breakfast was brought to the room in a basket and it was copious; varied and healthy with great feeling for local food. It was a pleasure to see the basket every single morning. Lovely white wine to welcome us to the house and a wonderful pool with a view!

The most beautiful hotel/villa we have ever stayed in. Our villa was gorgeous, massive and full of beautiful italian antiques, the pool was perfect and very clean, the baskets brought every morning for breakfast were delicious and often had enough left over for lunch. Every little detail of the stay was absolutely perfect - Golferenzo is the most beautiful village, and the staff, especially Paola and Arianna, were so kind and attentive to every possible thing we needed or wanted. The hotel’s restaurant, Corte de Lupe, was delicious and so aesthetically pleasing, just like the rest of the hotel. It’s the perfect place to go and reset/relax, because it’s so peaceful and quiet in the village. We will be back next year - we felt heart-broken to be leaving!

Nice house among vineyard hills. House was cozy and comfortable with shared garden with 2 other houses. Amazing pool with a view. Breakfast BIO, fresh and delicious, delivered to your house.

I have not experienced so much peace and quiet as in Borgo Dei Gatti. The staff was awesome and always willing to help you. The pool was fantastic and the view is indescribable and you enjoyed every minute looking at it. Every morning a basque basket comes with a different breakfast which was awesome and all from the region. Thank you and look forward to coming back in the future.
