The location was great, and the communication with the host was also good.

The bedroom setup did not match the description: the "sofa bed" in bedroom 1 was a pull-out chair that was broken, and with no space to pull it out. Bedroom 2 did not have an "extra large double" but a bunk bed and two sofas so tightly crammed into the room that there was no space to move and even difficult to get into the room. The "patio, balcony and terrace" listed on Booking.com was actually two small wooden, rickety balconies, one of which had a massive hole in the floor. The "garden views" was a concrete back yard behind a hotel. Facilities: The site lists both towels and hairdryer, but there was only one small hand towel and no hairdryer. We had to request both and wait a day to receive them. There were no dark curtains in bedroom 1, so the strong neon lights from the nearby hotel shone straight into the bedroom. Apartment condition: The state of the apartment was disgusting: there was no bin in the kitchen but a bag full of rotting, stinky rubbish was left in cupboard and an unemptied ashtray was left in the sink. The wardrobe door handle was broken, the door to bedroom 2 was broken (not possible to close), and the drawers in bedroom1 were broken. The shower shelf consisted of mouldy, broken bits of wood with lots of empty plastic bottles left on it and there was a bucket with dirty water and mop in the shower. The beds had not been made and the bed linens provided had holes in them and there was sand/dirt on the bed sheets (had probably not been changed). The wardrobe and under bed space was full of the owner's stuff. There were massive spiderwebs on the walls/ceiling, every room was dirty and there was an unpleasant smell throughout the apartment. I suffer from asthma and allergies, and just two nights in this place made my breathing difficult. Suffice to say, we were not at all comfortable to stay in this place - it is unfit for renting out and the description on Booking.
