Located off the Trans-Canada Highway, this Golden, British Columbia hotel is surrounded by the Rocky and Purcell Mountains. It features an indoor pool and rooms with a balcony and a mountain view. We stayed at this hotel a lot of times and all was fine, but this time one of our room was not good. Fridge was not working properly and released a lot of water on the floor.

“Comfortable beds”
We stopped just for a night before heading for a Rockwall 3-day hike. The beds were comfortable and the room was quite large with a kitchenette area.

“Easy access from the highway - good for a one night stay”
The motel is easily reachable from the highway and close to downtown Golden, about a five minute drive. The room had everything we needed and it was clean. Staff at checkin were friendly and there was free parking close to the room. Price was cheap so value for money is okay.

“Great Experience for all 6 of us for one night!”
The rooms were renovated recently, laminate flooring and no carpeting, very clean and easily accessible just up a few stairs; Our rooms were beside each other like we asked, and for being beside the main highway, I was quite happy the traffic noise was not noticed at all! The queen size beds were exceptional!

“Nice place, has lots of potential to be a great stay if add something as simple as better cable/tv”
Checked in at 1 am as that's when I drove through, and made the reservation last minute which was convenient. Room was nice, and a comfortable bed.
